Hi all,

 

We have an issue on 2.22 which is fairly new to us since most of our
instances are still running on older war files. 

 

We have activated self-registration for users and once we open the user
account or users log in they all complain that everything is in Arabic. 

It is clear from the user account that Arabic is currently set to the
default interface language. Where does one set the default interface
language you want to use for an instance so that it doesn't default to the
first on the list ie. Arabic?

[Dhis2-users] How to get the attributeOptionCombo value?

Hallo everyone,

 

We are working on migrating data from one instance to another, where the
instances have different configurations for the data elements. In the data
extracted from one instance, we have to change the following element values
to correspond to those of the instance to which we are importing data:-
dataElement, categoryOptionCombo and attributeOptionCombo. The first two
i.e. dataElement and categoryOptionCombo we can get through the API, but the
attributeOptionCombo value can't be got through the API. We have two
questions.

1.   Where in a DHIS2 instance can we get the attributeOptionCombo value
for a given dataset?

2.   If we migrate data using this method, does this affect the
Reporting Rate for that particular DataSet? If it does, how can we overcome
this?

Hi Hari!
An event can be completed in the tracker and event capture user interfaces, 
usually as the last step of the data entry process. When the event is completed 
- by clicking the complete event button - it will be moved from its current 
status to the complete status.
Based on your programs configuration the events data might become locked when 
the event is completed, and no further change can be performed while the event 
is residing in the completed status. The completed status can also be useful 
for filtering and reporting.The functional meaning of completing an event is 
mainly depending on your context. You asked about competing old events - are 
you planning to start using the completed status in an ongoing project that has 
not already used it?

We are trying to use program indicators in charts and reports. We observed
that there is an option '*Include only completed events*' under 'options'
menu pivot table page. We were not able to find any documentation for this.
Could you please tell us or any reference about completed events and how do
I complete existing events?
