[Dhis2-users] Data Stopped Displaying in Pivot and Visualizer

Hi All,

Recently my instance stopped displaying data in Pivot and
Visualizer.However when I run Events reports,data is present.But when I run
program indicators or aggregate indicators,bo data is displayed.

However from our hosting company,they are able to see data and able to run
pivot and visualizer without any problem.

Has anyone experienced this before? If so any idea as to why this is so?

[Dhis2-users] Using attribute options in indicators

Hi everyone

Is it possible to use attribute options in indicators calculations. For
example if I have two partners assigned to a dataset, PSI and Save the
Children but I only want to include PSI data in the indicator.

Hi Timothy,

If you are talking about Data Entry app, then yes. That user should be able
to see the public DataSet in the drop down list.

Can you try again on https://play.dhis2.org/2.29/ server. If same issue
occurs, please create a jira issue with detailed steps to reproduce. I will
check.

In 2.29 I've created a public dataset, but a user who is not superuser (but
has all the necessary datavalue authorities and is a part of that OU)
cannot see the public dataset. Must all datasets be shared with a usergroup
the user is via:

I have a follow up question about tracker with large numbers of registrations – 
does anyone have guidelines on device memory (phone/tablet) for querying the 
server? If a user wanted to search hundreds of thousands of names or IDs before 
registering a TEI (to avoid duplication or update a registration), nothing 
would be downloaded to the device, right? So the main memory requirements would 
be what is needed to install the apps and store a few registrations locally 
until synced?

Hi Nguza,

I didnt try yet the desktop version, but I am also experiencing this issue
with 2.28 (not the 29 so far).
It seems that the redirection after logging-in is buggy, on particular
conditions:

If I am not logged in, and try to access a specific page of DHIS2 (for
example the tracker capture app), it will first ask me to log in, and then
I have the same bug as you.
If I am not logged in, and try to access the main DHIS2 url (in my case "
http://localhost/;, nothing after), everything works fine.

So, does your user try to access directly a specific page of DHIS2 (maybe
using a shortcut, or with an automatically completed URL in the browser)?

If yes, I would suggest you to change the shortcut to the main DHIS2 url.
Then your user will go "manually" to the specific page s/he wants.

This is a work-around.
It does not change that there is bug that needs to be solved and you can
create a Jira issue about it.
