[Dhis2-users] Program rule Assign

Hello,

I would like to tick Yes / No auautomatically after confirming that 4
previous data elements have values that respect a certain range.

My condition is respected and the program rule works but I have a small
concern for the level of value to put in the expression so that "Yes" is
checked in GUI. I put 1 in the expression to assign, the display does not
check "Yes" but it shows me "No" with a funny format (see picture )

Hi Lars,
I think like the DHIS2 is a system that needs to be deployed on a large
scale, the choice to keep postgresql is ideal. In its recent version
Postgresql becomes more flexible when there is a lot of data. It becomes
very close to Oracle. the possibility of using the Json and its highly
developed GIS module is a major asset. I'm ok to keep Postgresql as DHIS2
DBMS.

[Dhis2-users] Problem with dashboard Android app

[riddy ndoma]

Hello,
I'm trying to use the mobile app Dashboard. I noticed for the same
dataElements, same period, same OrgUnit, I created two favorites. A table
and a graph. but I notice the graph appears, but the table does not appear
even after you click on it.

Also for the pie chart, I thought rather see values as I see them on my
computer, against the mobile app I see the percentage data.

Does anyone have any experience with this app?

I use a Lenovo tablet TAB3-850M running on  Anroid 6.0
DHIS2 22.2 Build 22065 revision

-I Wanted to know if you have to go through the Dataentry module to
download a file sent from a Dataset with File-type data element? There is a
separate module to list the file like analysis module?

-Who has access to  "delete button" next to File-type data element on the
Dataset? There is a user role associated with it?

Slt Derek. Tu devras juste établir une connexion entre Postgresql et
Ireport. Comme l'instance est en ligne, tu peux prendre le backup en local
tu le relies avec Ireport, puis tu élabores ton rapport et le fichier
jasper généré pourra être exploité en ligne puisque le backup et l'instance
en ligne sont supposés avoir le même metadata.

[Dhis2-users] Synchronization frequency with DHIS2 Event Capture

Hello,
I have a problem with automatic synchronization. I configured my
synchronisation in 1 minute. I have the Internet on my phone but since 50
min, my Event is always Offline in the status.
I have tried my test with my phone connected but the Event is always
offline.

Hi all,
I've a problem with DHIS2 Datacapture Android App. I use 2phones(Huawei 
Samsung). In Huawei I installed an old App since longtime, now i took on
Google play the new app and i installed it in my samsung.

With the same account and the same server. I've two forms(Aggregate report
 Single Event). the Aggregate report work in both but the Single Event
show me a message: No forms found assigned to current user

Some one has an idea or an old apk file of 2014?

I did not understand at the end. You use the Live DHIS2? You have installed

I have the same problem when I use Firefox 34.0.5 on windows. I clear the
cache (browser  DHIS2 cache) several times but nothing works. It gives the

The period may be specified by entering a date (ddMM) directly into the
body of the user's message after the command, as in the following example:
Consider the case where we are in February and we want to send data for
January

PAL 1501 b5 a10 c11

The system considers anterior 12months from the month the data is sent. So
no need to further clarify the year in the date format.

 - No user message

 Response sent to user if they are not registered in the system

 - User belong to more than one OrgUnit message

 Response sent to user if they are assigned more than one orgunit and they
 did not send report using org unit codes.

If you want to see the data entered by your team to the analysis you have
to firstly excuter Analytics (App menu Report Ananlytics) if you want to
see the raw data you are obliged to know the OU, and the dataSet the period
during which the data was entered.
You can even send the screenshot if possible.

Can you recover you even with your local authority. create a database of
empty data in postgresql then modifies Miss Hibernate file and executes end
your local instance with this data base empty. DHIS2 will automatically

[riddy ndoma]

Hello everyone.
I am interested in the functionality of data synchronization with HID 2.16.
I wanted to know is that if I sync a local instance with an instance
online. I can add an organizational unit on the instance online and see
this addition also appear in the local instance? This synchronization only
concerns the dataValue or even some Metadata?

This synchronization is bidirectional or unidirectional. Data can leave two
senses?

 It was released on March 1st, so it's still pretty new. The App is in a
 beta stage at the moment, but it is definitely functional and might be
 useful for example for easily accessing Dashboards on a tablet or a phone.
 It connects to any DHIS2.13 + instance and supports multiple user accounts.

 Hopefully this is useful for someone. Feedback is appreciated.

Thank you very much Busoye.
It works. I created a small java class to take in organunit Ms Access to
the database postgresql directly to fill automatically because it was a
lot. probably the hiernate sequence did not change. I updated the START
number.

that you have configured the postgresql environment variable. for the psql

What surprises me is that how Randy when the form is was not personalized,
I recorded the information without a problem but I losrque personalized
with the same ID fields ca saves only the AS population and not other
people derived. The option to redo caluls with the constants in the
indicators is envisagable but the problem is many indicators have already
been done with the data of these items. it will be necessary to find these
indicators, with the risk of forgetting some of them.
I think if DHIS2 gives the ability to customize it supports this kind of
thing. Do not forget we want to replace a system that already existed,
users are accustomed to seeing these automatically generated via the GUI
populations.

  You are right, since you can’t use an indicator in the formula for
 another indicator, I can see why you want to convert the calculated field
 to data values. However, you can duplicate the population calculation in
 each indicator definition – and now you can use system constants to store
 the percentages so that you can modify them in one place and it will change
 all of your indicator calculations without editing them.  Your approach
 also creates a lot of extra data elements in the system.

I will clearly explain the problem:

I want to send the data in my system from SMS. I used the application DHIS2
SMS gatway android. I set the order in the system, when I send the data
from SMS. The system comes to receive the data well. The problem I had
before it was sent to bind DHIS2 SMS Gateway has a periodicity data. I did
it. Now the problem is that when I go on dataentry with the same period,
the same user and the same dataset, the data sent will not appear. But the
SMS configuration menu I see the SMS received from DHIS2 SMS gateway
android.

 You need to define an SMS service for outgoing SMS for the SMS parsing to
 work. It's paradoxical sorry, but that's probably the problem. Try defining
 an HTTP service. Just enter some URL, a user name and password. And make
 sure it's started. Then try again. Jerome are working on some slides that
 outline this. We'll send out shortly.

 The plain SMS solution is somewhat limited when it comes to specifying
 period. By default, if you don't specify anything, it will take the
 previous period, which in your case would be the year 2012.

 You can also specify a date in the format ddMM, e.g. 3012 for December
 30th. Since this date has not yet occurred in 2013, it would again be
 interpreted as the year 2012. However, if you wanted to report for 2013,
 you could put in any date before today, e.g. 0110. So if your command is
 malaria, the full message would be something like malaria 0110 a44 b 29
 c3 e3.

 There currently is no way to use plain SMS to report data more than a year
 back. Do you have a real use case for that, or is this just a theoretical
 question?

 Hi Riddy,

 If you need totals in your data entry page, you will need to use  a custom
 form. The Totals column at the end of the data element categories will be
 available and identifiable by the DE_Name (Total). For other totals you
 need to be able to define them through indicators. To see the indicators in
 the form, you need to add them to the data set.

 Note that you can't actually customise the section, you will need to
 create the form from scratch.

 have available and the approach that you use for calculating the different
 denominators.

 **1.   **Decide whether you will only store total catchment
 population for each facility and then use national level percentages to
 calculate specific service target populations.  For example in Rwanda we
 multiply total population by 4.1% to estimate the expected pregnancies and
 23.6% to estimate the women of reproductive age, etc…  If this approach
 works for you then you only need to create a single data element
 “Population” and the rest of the target populations can be calculated as
 indicators.  You can also use the ‘Constants’ feature in data
 administration to define these percentages so that you can change them
 easily.

 **2.   **Normally the facility target populations don’t add up to
 100% of the national population, so you will probably want to add official
 census projected populations at the lowest level that they are available.
  Note for your data element you should define 2 aggregation levels for
 Population.  In our case they are Facility and Sector.  All of the higher
 levels are automatically aggregated.

 **3.   **If you have the estimated target populations for each
 facility in a spreadsheet, you can import them into the datavalue table
 (normally you import one record per year per facility so make sure you get
 the periodid, dataelementid, and sourceid=organisationunitid fields
 correct) before appending them.

 **4.   **If you don’t have all of the data and you want users to
 enter the populations, create a dataset called population with a
 periodicity of Yearly and assign it to all health facilities.  You can even
 create some indicators for each of your main target groups that are used in
 your indicator populations (Children 1 year, Expected Pregnancies,
 Children 5 years, Women of reproductive age 15-49, etc…) and include them
 in the dataset so that people can see the estimated sub-populations like
 the example below.  This is useful with the pivot tables, as you can
 extract data element totals along with desired sub-population when
 calculating coverage rates.

 **5.   **Each year, ask health facility staff to update their
 populations through the dataset, or insert new records using the projected
 growth rate (I did both: asked facilities to update them first, then
 incremented any missing values using previous year’s data.)

 Strange - could you perhaps just quickly try to move the new one (using
 the last option, Hierarchy Operations) and see if it moves to the right
 place? (not a good solution of course)

 I don't think this should be related to caching, but since that is often
 the case with the orgunits, could you also try in the Chrome incognito
 window? I've also seen sometimes that it looks as an OU is selected in the
 tree even though it actually isn't, so you could try deselecting and
 reselecting.

I changed not changed. The problem is that my variable that points to dhis2
-live that name the ...
I tried it with java-jar $ DHIS2LIVE/dhis2-live.jar
It still does not work

 strange.  it looks like the path to jar file is not being computed
 correctly.  This shouldn't happen as the startup.sh does this
 automatically.  Maybe you have accidentally edited it.  can you attach a
 copy of your startup.sh

 Given you have java installed then you should be able to start it
 meanwhile by just typing:

 java  -jar dhis2-live.jar

 in the directory where the jar file is.

No Mac version Mydatamart ... I will also advice not to use Mydatamart
since it is not really stable ... there are bugs
