先に書いたとおり、新規部分については背景などを書いていただかなくても
基本的には問題はないですが、あえて原文から離れた翻訳をご提案いただ
いた場合は、やはり背景を補っていただけると非常に助かります。


一点だけ：

に対しても言えるので、翻訳を修正するだけではなくて原文の修正を依頼した
方がよいかもとは思うのですが、正直そこまでするべきかなーと悩んでおります。

これは、基本図形を描き、コンテキストメニューの [領域] で出現するダイアログの [グラデーション]
タブをクリックしたときのものです。ご覧の通り「枠線(B):」とありますが…
この msgid は 5.3 でも踏襲されているようで、 [2] の左側のように登場します（5.3 では、上述の [領域]
のみならず、例えば、Weiter の [書式] - [ページ] の [背景] タブでも登場します）。

面白そうなのでお手伝いしてみたいとは思いつつ…。
いかんせんあんまり役に立ちそうなスキルを持ち合わせていないのですが（苦
笑）、出来ることがありそうなら一口乗ります。自身の得意分野は機材です（と
いっても玩具レベルの素人ですが）。

とにもかくにもナレーターの確保が一番の鍵、ですかね…。

あべさん、いさなさん、返信ありがとうございます。

録音するとなると、
・マイクとオーディオインターフェースを使ってPCで
・性能のいいレコーダーで
プラスしてナレーターさん探しでしょうか。

あるいは、短めの動画なので音声合成で作ることも考えてます。

どちらにしろ翻訳するので、
まず日本語字幕をつけるとことから始めては、と
今思いつきました。他の言語の字幕もついていますね。

ご意見よろしくお願いします。

* 確認方法
 1. calc を開く
 2. b1 セルに "aa" と入力
 3. a1:c1 セルを選択
 4. [セルの結合と中央寄せ] をクリック、またはコンテキストメニューから [セルの(を)結合] をクリック

* 解説
5.3 で新しく導入されたダイアログです。[yEeJF] はダイアログのタイトル、[9e2nG] は説明文、[zBgFG], [5sAGF],
[aDcgb] はそれぞれラジオボタンのラベルとなっております。ちなみに先頭セル ("first cell") のみにコンテンツがある（上の例では、a1
セルに "aa" と入力し、他セルは空）場合、上記ダイアログは登場しません。
 - [9e2ng] において、わざわざ「先頭セル」を付け足しているのはそういう事情によります。
 - [zBgFG],[5sAGF], [aDcgb] において "hidden cells"
を「非表示になるセル」としているのは、このダイアログが見えている状況では該当セル（上の例では、b1,c1 セル）は非表示になっていないからです。
 - あとは各ラジオボタンをクリックした後、コンテキストメニューから [セルの分割]
をクリックして、各ボタンによる動作の違いをお確かめください。ご面倒をお掛けいたします。

とはいちおう書いてあるのですが、気づきにくいかもしれませんね。
ちょっと考えます。

「推奨」となっているのは強制力のあるルールをあまり作りたくなかった
（提案者にとっても査読者にとっても；査読者の私は多分過剰にコンサバ
なんだと思います。「この翻訳の方がいいなー」ぐらいだとまず上書き
しないですが、ガツッと上書きする査読者がいてもよいのです）のですが、
実質私は、論拠がない場合はスルーしてしまっているので、もう少し
トーンを上げたほうがいいですね。

なお論拠が欲しいなあと思うのは既存翻訳の上書き提案だけです。
新規提案についてはもちろん論拠を示していただいたほうが嬉しい
ですが、数も多くて負担も大きいですし、新規については気づきやすい
のでむしろ入れてしまって使っていただいてフィードバックを受ける
ほうがいいかと考えています。

これは次のPootleのバージョンアップでそういう機能がつくという
話をl10nで見かけた気がします。
本当に欲しいですね。そういう機能。

提案する側も依頼するのが簡単なように、
1. 提案のメッセージのURL
2. 意図や理由の説明
3. 変更する場合のWikiに記載する内容(あれば)
のような雛形を用意しておけばいいのかなと思います。
バグレポートに再現条件などを記入する雛形があるような感じです。
