[IxDA Discuss] Section 508
Does anyone have suggestions on a way to prioritize steps in an audit of a site for section 508? Using web-based automated tools such as Cynthia Says as a starting off point for further investigation is not an option as the URL is not public facing yet. [IxDA Discuss] low cost wireframing/diagramming solution?
I am a front-end developer who only occasionally has need for a wireframing/diagramming application. I had been using an online tool called Lovely Charts for a previous project, and was going to turn to it again for some new work, but found that they wanted to charge a fee to save more than one project. I thought if I was going to spend any money that it might be possible to find a better solution and figured I would turn to the community for help. [IxDA Discuss] Designing for sound
Sound as a part of interaction design seems to be the domain of games, mostly. But I would love to hear more about how members of this list envision the role of sound in other scenarios. After spending some time with Everything is Miscellaneous organization alphaebetically is starting to look so arbitrary to me as to be verging on absurd. But I guess some merging of the two would be best in this case. Tabs for lumping together categories and some finer sorting alphabetically within the larger categories. Guess there's no escaping the alphabet, ultimately. But I'd hate to begin my shopping with the old A-Z. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
