I do NOT try to do the itunes/SbS integration. Can't see the value and it can cause other odd issues. I play my FLAC files (and any mp3 only files) on the SbS at home, and have mp3 files for portables. Back it all up on 4 to 5 different hardrives in at least 3 different locations, and I'm good to go. Re: [slim] Music pauses at random points and then restarts
Happy to provide whatever info might be useful. This is a mixed environment. Two sb receivers that are wired, one wireless boom and one wireless sb3. Whether one player is on or all are playing the same thing in sync doesn't appear to change the situation. The only solution is to play streaming services like pandora or radio stations. But as soon as I switch back to streaming some flac or mp3 files from my server, the pauses start happening again. The server is a win7 32 bit machine, p4 3gh with 4g ram. The CPU and memory utilization are at less than 50 percent when the problem occurs. Current production build of sb server. What other details would help? -- nathan_h nathan_h's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22786 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=81748 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

Re: [slim] SqueezeSvr.exe not recognized by COMODO
Hello. I'm currently using Comodo successfully with SqueezeCenter. You may need to setup a number of trusted applications AND change your default configuration for the Trusted Application under the predefined firewall policy. The default Trusted Application policy does not appear to include UDP communications. I also added ports 3483 and 9000. If anyone is still having problems using Comodo with SqueezeCenter / SqueezeBox, I can try to provide detailed instructions on my Comodo configuration. -- dwitkin dwitkin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=40320 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=75899 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

It works now and it seems solved by updated softwares. The issue was not a port related one but a software name one.
