if you enter your MySB.com credentials into the server settings,
SqueezePad is able to show you the Squeezebox even when the Squeezebox
is connected to MySB.com.
SqueezePad will also be able to switch the player back to your server
then, when you select it.

My sincere apologies. Not sure how but my device had been switched to
mysqueezebox - i reverted to local server and connected squeezebox to
media server and all is well. Thanks!

When you open the web-interface of your server, does it show your
Squeezebox?
Did you try to enter the My Music menu on your Squeezebox as written
(sometime Squeezeboxes switch on their own).
When you enter SqueezePad settings (small button bottom right) and hit
the 'Search' button and you select your server (only one, right?) your
Squeezebox still does not turn up?

Apologies, I should have been more specific. I do not use
mysqueezebox.com. I control my server from the web interface.

Walking the "Highline" park in Chelsea in NYC last Sunday morning, I
noticed this hand lettered sign in an apartment window.

This has been brought up hundreds of times by other users, as well as
being a sticking point during beta testing, so it's not my personal wish
while I "ignore everyone else". And not a matter of incorrect or
correct, just about configurability.

The biggest issue is visibility of the interface from a distance and why
more flexible text sizing is needed. If someone sits six feet from the
Touch while using the remote and has good eyse, then maybe a smaller
text and four lines would work better for them. On the other hand,
someone twelve feet away with poor eyesight might prefer a larger font.
Same thing with Now Playing. There's room for much larger text on the
screen, but no way to make it happen.

For convenience. And finding/discovering all of the available options is
much easier in the web UI than it is in the Touch interface. Everything
is much easier to get at. It would also makes it much easier to
configure multiple players without having to run around the house
changing settings on every one.

No, that wouldn't be convenient at all, because it would mean navigating
in some interface to each album where you've made changes. I'd simply
like to see a 'new & changed' scan detect any new or changed covers.

Both. Except, of course, on the Boom and Radio.

It is one of the most annoying things to have to do - I often change
many of the tags for a single album at a time, including embedding the
album cover, but for all this to show up, a complete rescan is required.
Since my coolection is now c33K tracks, it takes a while & I have to
remember to do it!! Daft, really.

Indeed, I cannot remember what changes to the music library ARE
reflected without a complete rescan, including deletion of preferences.!

Thanks bpa.
Given the years I have fiddled with SB and BBC, I don't know how I
missed Beebotron. The Beebobodge solution works perfectly. The result is
exactly what I was looking for.
