There are so many factors I have to satisfy - the MS speakers have to stay (other half swears by them!). Amp should have remote control - and not look like something out of a Soviet-era Mig fighter. I don't want to speculate to much about the motivations and rentability behind Orange bikes but hope the makers have some love for Squeezebox users left to keep it alive. Thanks, Nick The wireless key is the one you want, sure your entering this correctly, they're usually case sensitive? Too far from the router to run ethernet cable? Homeplugs would get your Touch up and running without needing a wireless key. You should be able to google the username/password for your router if you know the model, selection below. Hasn't that always been a problem with Android? [slim] MOG issues
For the last two days issues with MOG via LMS skips songs due to time outs, or the album just doesn't start to play. I stopped and restarted the server,the Touch and IPeng with no success. Playing MOG from the browser on my Mac works just greatanyone else having issues? Thanks for the tips. I have now managed to get it working again. To do this, I held the restart button in for several seconds to force the factory settings again. This time a message came up Factory Settings Restored which didn't appear this morning. Once past this screen I was able to connect to the router by typing in the wireless key. So I can only assume something didn't quite work when it restarted this morning. At least it was a simple fix as I hoped! Sure. But even before that happened 75% of Android users never ever paid for an App, not sure that gets better with moving towards the cheaper end of the market... But then I don't really know. What I do know, though, is that even on iOS almost nobody really makes money with Apps themselves (outside of games; I'm talking about App revenue as opposed to contracting or having an App that supports a broader business) and those who do are usually independent developers, rarely do you have enough revenue to support a whole company. All Android developers I know still tell me, things are much worse on Android and if you want to make any money go free and Adds instead of selling. [slim] Can't PROXIE STREAM SiriusXM to off-site players anymore
I've got multiple players... Transporter, Duet, 2-SB3s, etc. One of the SB3s is at my office where I can stream anything from home, EXCEPT for SiriusXM. I've tried changing from PROXIED to DIRECT streaming and it still doesn't work. All other players at home, and my iPad and iPhone running iPeng don't have an issue... it's only the remote SB3. I have noticed that Sirius is now streaming WMA and I don't remember it being that before. Still, everything else works great. Hi Ralphy thank you so much, the Squeezeplay app works beautifully and now the iMac screensaver kicks in as it should. Have yet to try Squeezelite but I will likely just use Squeezeplay as having a controller available on the desktop is quite handy. Back to enjoying music again, rather than thinking about how to get it working! This for me also solves the question what to buy next?. As long as LMS can be made to work with Apple devices then I don't see a great problem replacing the Duet if it ever decides to stop working.
