accurately it predicts what you're trying to write.

Yes , the only difference is that the sync code is thoroughly tested
against that hardware.
And that its purpose coded OS is made to be predicable re audio . It
relatively simple compared to desktop linux

Not exactly. It's purpose-built hardware running Linux as its OS.

I have a Nexus 10 and I can't remember if the "regular keyboard" is the
same as the Google Keyboard?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.inputmethod.latin

I love the Google Keyboard. I mostly use it with swipes rather than
tapping. I especially like how easy it is to switch languages. I
regularly use English and Swedish. Sometimes I switch mid-sentence when
writing "Swinglish", and it switches spell-checking on the fly.

I played with the syncing on two Squeezelite boxes again, both in the
same room. On the LMS, there are two options for synchronization - you
sync only on start/stop, or you can sync continuously. I had been using
the continuous sync, and that's when I'd hear re-sync artifacts every 10
or 20 seconds. BUT, if you turn off the continuous sync and just hope
that the two Squeezelite boxes have the same timing, it works out pretty
well, even when I have two different types of hardware. Pretty happy
with the results.

I haven't been following developments that closely, so I REALLY
appreciate the work y'all have done to consolidate all the efforts on
one site. Even if I don't need a player when some of these get to the
production stage, I plan to purchase just so I can keep up to date...and
support the community.

Many thanks!

Same here. I have a duet, touch and classic that are usually synced, all
three of which are often within earshot of one another. I had some
problems in my earlier SB years getting perfect synchronization, but
somewhere in or around version 7.0 the company finally got it right.
It's been quite some time since I have experienced any drift.

That is among my biggest concerns switching to another system, or
replacing a dead SB with a software/homemade setup.

I'm lost in the preview... is there anyway to get a LIST in the tablet
version? I can only see a grid and cannot find a menu option / setting
to switch to list - I don't have enough art work over 2000+ albums to
want a grid.
