You might try changing the Orange Squeeze Persistent Connection setting (under Advanced Preferences) to see if that stops the app from restarting itself in the background. Some of us in the past had the opposite issue (app stopped running in the background when we didn't want it to -- so that playback could be paused/muted on a phone call, for instance) and in fixing that the app may be overaggressive. Here is a quick intro: - Open the LMS web interface in your browser, and navigate to Favorites - Hover your mouse cursor over the Favorites line, and a pencil icon (a very fat pencil) will appear on the right side of the same line as Favorites - Click on the pencil icon to enter Edit mode - your Favorites appear on a list, with buttons at the bottom for New Favorite, New Folder , and Import. - you can define folders via New Folder, and then drag-and-drop Favorites into those folders. Although the Squeezer remote only supports streaming from the squeeze server. There are other (paid) remote apps that will also play music services.
