I added the original size in my post above by mistake.

The resized image for the Joggler skin is available 'here'

You can install applets in a directory under
/home/tc/.jivelite/userpath/applets in picoreplayer.

SOA should be the same you just need to find the
$HOME/.jivelite/userpath/applets directory

For example I have an alsamixer applet that I use with pcp and it's
installed in /home/tc/.jivelite/userpath/applets/AMixer. You can use
the Applet Installer too if you setup a repo.xml and add it to lms. You
also need to add minTarget="0.1" to the applet name xml tag for it to
show up in jivelite.

Triode chose to use luajit for jivelite which is fast but doesn't
support all the addtional lua language extensions added to the lua
slimdevices/logitech used for squeezeplay/touch/radio/control. My
jivelite build for picoreplayer uses the same lua as squeezeplay and
should run custom clock. I had to add the bitop lua language extension
to be able to run Triode's modified lua applets with the original
logitech lua.

Custom clock might need to be modified to run with lua-jit.

So maybe replace the Duet with my old SB 3?

I'm already running the Duet through the coax output, bypassing the
Duet's DAC, and through the A/V receiver's built in DAC.

Would there be any difference in signal/sound quality? Would bits still
be bits? Thanks!

I would like to figure out a way to add the CustomClock applet to
JiveLite - that would allow additional custom screens to be used with
JiveLite (and the RPi with TouchScreen using PiCorePlayer and Jivelite).
I have an RPI currently running squeezelite and jivelite (currently
using SOA), with an ADAFruit display (no touch) which I think is the
same resolution as the official RPI display - it's almost a touch, but
what I miss the most is the CustomClock screensavers (for example, the
custom SuperDateTime screens).
It would be GREAT if erland could port the customclock applet to work
with Jivelite!

I just discovered a MUCH easier way to change the VU meters.

ssh to picoreplayer

sudo mkdir -p
/home/tc/.jivelite/userpath/applets/JogglerSkin/images/UNOFFICIAL/VUMeter

As root copy a 1x453 VU meter png file of your choice to
/home/tc/.jivelite/userpath/applets/JogglerSkin/images/UNOFFICIAL/VUMeter/vu_analog_25seq_w.png

Then you can just cycle through the now playing screens to the VU screen
to check it.

If you're happy with it save your config from the web gui or sudo
filetool.sh -b

If you don't like it
sudo rm -rf /home/tc/.jivelite/userpath/applets/JogglerSkin

If you forget to save the config before the next power cycle/reboot
you'll have to repeat the process.

If you want to try piCorePlayer it really is very simple. Burn the
sd-card with the piCorePlayer image, then boot and you will have a
working solution out of the box.

It is possible to tweak it in various ways, and you can add wifi
adaptor, a dac and a screen. All these additions can be manipulated via
a web browser from another computer. Please visit our web pages where
there is a "how to "

Depends on whether the bits are moving towards you (blue shifted) or
moving away from you (red shifted). This may affect the key of the
music, but should have no affect on the sound quality. ;-)
