Can't test it as I'm logging in remotely but I'll be back there over the weekend to see if it works with my CCA. In the meantime, will be installing a ChromeCast Video at my current location this evening and setting it up on the NAS there (Synology this time) so hopefully that should work. slimfast's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=29669 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104383 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] SiriusXM Support Through ickStream
I've been out of the loop for a while. I cancelled my XM subscription about 6-7 years ago but got a free trial to SiriusXM as part of a new vehicle purchase last month. I was puzzled at not seeing the app option under MySqueezebox.com and came here to get the bad news. I sent SiriusXM an email and let them know that resolution of the ickStream option would have bearing on my decision to continue the service after my trial subscription expires. Has any progress been made? Thanks. boolittlek's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=23650 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104395 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

This is an old version of LMS modified for installation on an old NAS so it could be related to that. Will try it later on a more up to date system to see how it goes. slimfast's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=29669 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104383 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] Which Paid Controler App for Android?
Orange Squeeze has always worked well for me ... although it has been slightly flaky on my old Xperia SP with Android 4.3 since about a year ago when using the widget. No issues at all on newer phones and tablets and the widget is very handy for quick control access. slimfast's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=29669 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104914 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

Go with Squeeze-Ctrl. It has an amazing array of abilities including to chromecast the Now Playing screen to a TV. Plus there is an optional tablet mode which is great for...well...tablets. http://zzzone.net http://have-a-nice-day.org http://www.last.fm/user/zzzoneDOTnet http://somethingsomethingsomething.net SBS 7.9 - i7 nuc - Win 10 64bit 5 Booms, 2 Radio, 3 Touch, 1 Duet, 5 piCorePlayers including 3 touchscreen, 1 Avy 2 controllers, various tablets/phones Apps including iPeng, Squeeze Ctrl etc. 'Library' (http://zzzone.net/photo/2009/music1.jpg): 300,000+ FLAC/MP3 files - 12 TB HD jimzak's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17592 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104914 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] Which Paid Controler App for Android?
I own Squeeze Control, Orange Squeeze and Squeezer. Squeeze Control gets my vote, a nice touch is the volume control buttons always to hand on the now playing screen, or simply slide a finger up or down on the album cover to immediately raise/lower the volume, important when used into active speakers with no remote controlled volume in the chain. The Squeezer app on the other hand, needs two button presses 'til you get to actually get to see the volume control ! kidstypike LMS on Raspberry Pi 2 model B/max2play/HiFiBerry DAC+ > AVI DM5 1 x SB3 - 1 x Boom - 1 x (Squeezebox) Radio - 2 x Touch - 2 x Raspberry Pi/max2play/HiFiBerry kidstypike's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10436 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104914 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] Which Paid Controler App for Android?
I own both Orange Squeeze and Squeeze Ctrl; they're both fine apps, but I prefer Squeeze Ctrl. Besides what others have mentioned, it includes a number of small touches that I use (e.g., Tasker integration, the ability to mute all players when a phone call comes in). Its developer is very responsive to feedback/requests, and seems more active currently than the Orange Squeeze developer. bwaldron's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1073 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104914 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] Devices for sale
I'm interested in the radios and the boom. Are they still available? How much are you asking for them? Sorry for the public reply - I view these forums as a mailing list, and haven't been able to figure out how to send a pm, even after following the web links to forums.slimdevices.com and logging in. If you wish to email me, I'm on Gmail as "mitcharf". Thanks! Sending a PM is dead easy. Just click the person's name on the left of the message (e.g. the person who wrote the message) then choose private message. jimwillsher's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=410 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104907 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

Thanks! That's what I thought, but it wasn't working. The problem turned out to be with the first mobile browser I tried (even in desktop mode). Switching to Firefox Beta did the trick. Re: [slim] Devices for sale
For future reference: The problem seems to be with user accounts that are auto-created when you post to the email lists, versus accounts originally created on the forum web page. The former accounts get "do not have permission" errors for several account operations, including PMs. I haven't found a way to fix that, but the workaround is to just create a second account via the web page. ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
