I suspected it may have been so, although our internet has been a bit patchy today which I was considering to be the problem, but other downloads are ok. [slim] pCP on Raspberry Pi3 - unable to update to 3.22 using pCP GUI - fails
Am running Audiophile version of pCP 3.21 on Raspberry Pi3 with 8Gb SD card with full card partitioned for the file system. Trying to upgrade to standard version 3.22 via pCP GUI but I am sometimes getting error message "Sourceforge not accessible!!", and if I get to downloading the new version when it is installing errors of "unable to download". I have tried many times and am getting varying errors. Anyone having this problem, or is it just my system? [slim] Logitech Transporter out of sync with EMM Labs DAC6e SE word clock
Good day ~ I recently purchased an EMM Labs DAC6e SE, and got it hooked up to my Logitech Transporter earlier today. I'm outputting PCM data over AES/EBU and have slaved it to the DAC6e's word clock via BNC. The DAC locks to the signal, reporting no errors on the front panel, but is putting out loads of crackling sounds along with the music. I can then go in and set the Transporter as master and the DAC6e to look for for the external clock, and the crackling is gone. One of the reasons I purchased the DAC6e was that I could utilize its (I'll assume) superior word clock; without it, I'm only adding jitter to the equation, thus - in my humble opinion - negating its use. There are a few old threads out there on the Slim Devices forum, but there is no solution even stated; but the fact that things are out of sync seems to the be issue. I've left a voice message for EMM Labs; as the Transporter is no longer supported I can only look to the forums, which I'll be posting this identical information to shortly. Anyhow, if you have any thoughts or suggestions, please let me know. Thanks, as always, for your time. ~ Mark ballywho's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=67391 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108053 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

Yes, it works. I was able to set up my Harmony display to list the six presets with custom labels - mostly Napster channels. This lets me turn on and play music without having to look away from the remote. The issue is more to do with MP4 than using ffmpeg. The ffmpeg conf file is setup to jump to a start point if LMS tell it (i.e. T:{START=-ss %s} ) but for MP4 to be streamed they need to be set up special (IIRC include timing jump points) and not just as an MP4 file to be downloaded like most podcast. It would some test to check if the podcasts are setup as plain files or as files suitable for streaming. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108041 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
