Then I reinstalled and then installed spotty. the plugin came in just fine. My guess is a reboot would have solved my problem... (but who reboots ever!?) To give more info on the spotty.exe errors, I noticed on reinstall and reconfiguring the spotty that when i tried setting up with the wrong password, the minute I clicked save on the wrong password, the similar spotty error box came up. When i finally submitted the right password it didn't happen. This might be specific to my machine since I have .net debugging tools installed. Maybe not. No idea. Let me guess... user "jgatie" ;) Whenever I've tried talking about how I use LMS to get around Sonos' 65K track limit and limited 24 bit support, he's usually the one to go on the attack about LMS! You'd think he'd be happy that his precious Sonos brand is being used by people who'd otherwise be hit by their limitations. I've stopped visiting the Sonos forums now due to my frustration whenever jgatie starts being a keyboard warrior in the vast majority of his posts... However I do not use it locally often so I couldn't say. I am attaching the error I get. Again, this doesn't seem to interrupt actual performance, the spotify stream seems to play just fine. But the errors only produce when spotify is playing on one of the players (a boom in this case). 29137 +---+ |Filename: spottyerror.png | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=29137| +---+ 1 Touch 2 Receivers 1 Controller 2 Radios FredFredrickson's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16584 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111533 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

Can't comment on synch. - don't use it. Otherwise the bridge works fantastically well. Haven't had any issues with plugins either. The Beam has good sound and Alexa/Google built-in: also airplay2, but I've never got the airplay2 to work with the airplay plugin. I have 2 Play 1s - they work fine. The worst aspect I've found (and Sonos are to blame here) is the 'native' conroller software. You need a recent Android/iPad smartphone to set the sonos device up (the Win PC controller has been crippled & can't be used for setup - there's no web browser access nor a linux controller). Moving to a different network or a new router is a version of 'black magic' - makes LMS almost plug'n'play by comparison.
