You could also think about Ping, the short-lived social music sharing feature in ITunes that Apple introduced two years ago. It never was a success because people just don't feel the need to share their music and it has now been removed. Als eerste moet je op mysqueezebox.com inloggen. Daar onder Mijn Toepassingen kun je je facebook account configureren. Daar kun je ook aangeven welke van jouw squeezeboxes ( als je er meerdere hebt ) van facebook gebruik kunnen maken. Als facebook niet onder Mijn Toepassingen staat deze toevoegen via de Toep. Gallerie. Verder moet je controleren of op jouw LMS server de facebook plugin ingeschakeld is. My 2 cents: I stopped using iPeng a few months ago. I didn't even install it on my new iPad 3. Why? Because in my personal opinion it gets more and more extra's I don't want/need/use. I only want a program to control my players. This was iPeng's functionality on it's original release. For my taste it is getting pretty close to the edge of bloatware. But as it's creator Pippin has the right to change his app as he sees fit. They indeed look nice. But talking about support: Some people here are complaining about Logitech's support, but with the Philips players the support is non-existent. I have one Streamium device (NP2900). Am I the only one who doesn't see any use for all that Facebook and Twitter functionality? I bought the program as a remote control for the Squeezeboxes I own. All these extra functions only make the program more complicated and more difficult to use. Personally I removed all things Facebook / Twitter from my Squeezebox system long ago. I just don't like things I am not using at all cluttering up my system. If I want to use Facebook or Twitter there are a lot of options that work better than the Squeezebox eco-system. Now iPeng forces this functionality back into my music system. Guess for me it means I will use SqueezePad more often than iPeng. Pippin, At the time I bought iPeng the Logitech app was not available yet. And your program beats the functionality of the Logitech app by miles. Don't get me wrong, I really like it. The term force is a bit strong I know but I could not find a better word for it. I just don't like the way every program nowadays links to sites like Facebook and Twitter and I prefer not to use it. I am worried about my privacy. I understand your reasoning and your need for it. The only thing I ask for is an easy way to hide all references to Facebook and Twitter functionality. I am a programmer and I know it maybe problematic to do so but asking never hurts anyone. I think that is the big difference between us. You want a tool to share music with friends and easily find music on the web, I only want a program to control my music system. I am not interested in what music my friends play.
