The problem is Logitech.com does not sell all these items. If you were looking for a refund then it is standard practice to return the item to the store you brought it from. The Harmony ones on screen display will show you different information than the squeezebox controller. The Harmony one displays all of your IR controlled devices ( TV, Stereo, cable box etc)and allows you to set up different activities involving multiple devices. Example: You set it up so when you hit the watch tv activity on the harmony touchscreen, your tv turns on, your surround sound turns on and your cable box turns on. Using a Harmony to control a classic will give you the same control you would have with a Squeezebox classics IR remote and the additional ability to control your stereo. You will not be able to see album art, control your Squeezebox without being in line of sight, control multiple Squeezeboxes using one remote or any of the other cool things you can do using a Squeezebox controller. OK everyone lets slow down the AVS is Stupid train. I worked with our Authorization service and we now have the ability to accept orders placed with credit cards that are from non-AVS issuing countries. However for these orders we will most likely require have to contact the customer to confirm their identity resulting in a longer order processing. Additionally if we are not comfortable sending the order out we won't. I also want to point that www.slimdevices.com is NOT the worldwide squeezebox store we used to be. however since Logitech.com has regional web stores all over the world our scope has shifted. We now only service the Americas,Canada and parts of Asia. Okay so here is the problem. Many international credit cards do not support AVS.AVS is a service we use to verify peoples billing address and protect our cutomers from fraud. In the slimdevices days we sold worldwide and we really did not have too many restrictions. This was partially out of necessity, we did a lot of our fraud checking manually which was time consuming and sometimes not entirely reliable. Nop\w that we are part of a larger organization we have to be a bit more careful about what we do. Our new system requires that all orders are placed with a credit card that uses/supports AVS. Unfortunately it appears that the credit card used for your order does not support AVS. Obviously this is a legitimate order however without an AVS supporting card this order will not be able to go through.
