I completely cleared the cache and rescanned. I watched the progress as it scanned and it stopped early and here's the error. [11-11-05 10:21:38.6150] Audio::Scan::scan (64) Warning: Error: Unable to read at least 421 bytes from file. the problem is, it doesn't tell me which file it can't read. I figured this out. I ran the rescan from the tray app and it logged the offending directory. Whats in the scanner log or server.log ? Permissions, is LMS allowed to read everything. Any other pattern is everything fro a certain drive missing ? Or behind a shortcut ? You get the same result after a scan for new and changed and a clear and rescan everything . Have you deleted the cache folder ( stop LMS/SBS first ) and tried. [slim] Rescan doesn't pick up all tracks
After completely deleting and re-installing LMS on my WHS it only picks up about 1/4 of my total tracks. I've re-scanned several times and get the same results.
