I responded to it... Basically the Library provided a mechanism to save favorite songs for easy on-demand listening in the future (for an individual song only). Since Slacker now supports the creation of playlists, they decided to remove the Library functionality from their own player interfaces. After trying MOG and Spotify and finding their radio services lacking, I upgraded from Slacker Plus to Slacker Premium. This is the only music I listen to on any/every device, including my four Squeezeboxen. I assumed that since SB accommodates MOG and Spotify, it would play nice with all Slacker service tiers (it's been around longer than both of the former, eh?) -- but to my great chagrin, it doesn't. Being in Canada, with few music services, and having just recently been told that Napster Canada is packing it in, it would be really nice if Logitech offered access to all the Slacker Premium options (artists, songs, and albums on demand). Slacker does not offer this subscription option here on any platform. Slacker Radio Plus is the subscription they offer (no ads, no on demand music, unlimited song skips, mobile device support). Actually, Slacker Premium IS available in Canada - I have it on both my iphone and ipad. Full on-demand access to millions of artists, along with their premium radio services. I've had it for months now, and really enjoy the service - especially since MOG/Spotify/Pandora etc. aren't available in Canada, and since Rdio is not available for Squeezebox period (although available in Canada on other platforms. Right now, when I want to listen to Slacker Premium, I have to dock my iPhone though my stereo. Logitech's Slacker interface does not allow you to select albums or review album songs. iPhone and Android both do. (I know this for sure since I own both.) Is there a single premium music service that Logitech actually _does_ support fully? Or a service that doesn't have major bugs that Logitech tosses off as being on the service provider's side? This is my biggest fear about the future of Squeezebox. The music services that I use today could easily become second tier players (or go out of business) 5 years from now. I'm on the free trial of premium. Not all the features of premium work... Off the top of my head, I know you cannot play full albums and you can't access your playlists. I've never used Napster or Rhapsody, so I can't compare them, but every time I have requested an artist that I could not find on Slacker, they have added it pretty quickly. They have a forum specifically for that. Until I got this free trial, I only used Slacker (free) for the rare times I was tired of listening to my library, or when my server was down. I should probably check out those other two before subscribing to any of them. I'm fairly happy with Rhapsody and I like that I can use it on my Android devices as well as Squeezebox. There are still quite a few things missing though.
