Hmm. OK. Slightly embarrassed. It doesn't crash at all now. I'm not
sure what's going on. A couple of weeks ago (or more?) I gave up using
it as it crashed most times I adjusted the volume of a player. Now it
seems fine.
Sorry for false alarm.

Was that probably the 2.0? It had two issues around the main volume
slider, one of which was that it could issue skip commands and the other
that it could send a command that crashed iPeng. Fixed at least since
2.0.2.

I've lost patience with the Logitech app
On my Nexus 7, I cannot get past the agreement screen. Uninstalled,
rebooted, installed at least a dozen times.
On my Android phone, the Logitech app runs, but as soon as I tap the bar

The Android 4.2 update is really a dud. Very, very poor quality,
wouldn't blame that on the Apps.

Forgetting the month of December aside, my Nexus 7 now reboots every few
hours even if I do nothing at all.

And this is even Google's own device, let's hope other manufacturers
have better QA.

I'm very impressed with the multi-user functionality. The only real
downside I've found is that the much treasured BBC iPlayer is not
available for it and using automatic screen brightness causes screen
flicker. Better behaved than most recent iOS updates that have
cumulatively reduced the speed of my iPhone to a crawl.

Which iPhone model? With iOS I actually found 6 - maps aside - a pretty
good release that caused very few issues, but they should not have
released it for the 3GS, it needs too much memory.
iOS 5 was pretty bad from a quality POV although it was technically a
huge step forward - probably like Android 4.2. I understand that adding
more features and capabilities adds the risk of initially having more
bugs but seeing Google's own flagship device crash without any reason
every few hours is pretty bad, IMHO, haven't seen an iPhone crash for
years now.
And the December thing is also a pretty bold QA oversight.

I've avoided updating to 6 due to experience with last 3 (2?) major

whether to persevere with Apple or jump to Android. I'm still undecided
even though the iPhone 5 is quite underwhelming.

The next preview build will have a send logs option on Android 4.1+.
Devices with earlier versions of Android can use the app CatLog.

For now, your best bet would be to try the magic incantation of holding
down your device power button + volume up + volume down, which generates
a system report and allows you to send it via email or save to Google
