It sounds like you aren't rebuilding the documentation after you edit the reStructuredText files. To do so, you need to run 'make html', as per the setup instructions: https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/3.2/internals/contributing/writing-documentation/#getting-started-with-sphinx Note that you cannot submit changes to the HTML files, only changes to the reStructuredText files. Hi guys, I am Kaushik. And I'd begun my Django contribution lately. So here's my doubt i am working on a ticket which is related to sorting a part of the documentation. I understood the ticket and i know that i have to work with sphinx and reStructured texts to make any alteration to the docs. But the issue i am facing is when I try to edit the reStructured texts in my IDE for the desired result and save it. I don't see any changes in my docs which i installed locally through Sphinx. But when I try to edit the html version of the same file I am getting the result. But it's too complex to alter an html file because if I try to edit a single line of HTML, then I have to do the same with other interconnected components. That is the reason why we have reStructured text to make it easy to edit the docs. But I don't know where should I go and check whether my changes are updated through reStructured text.
