I’ve had docker running on Beowulf for a while now. Use the official docker 
repository for debian and just use buster for the release name as the 
“lsb_release -cs” command likely will give the wrong answer running it on 
Devuan.

[DNG] Devuan Beowulf fresh install - feedbacks

Hi all,

first of all, congrats to the dev team for this new release.

I tested it inside a VM and everything worked smoothly no problem...

I installled on my laptop and I faced a couple of problems:

- during install I was unable to install mate desktop from the huge ISO 
, bad checksum for mate-themes-extras, I installed Cinnamon and install 
finished...


- reading  the docs it seems that non free firmwares should be available 
but installer does not seem to find themInstalled them after 
installation process finished


My current problem is with docker.io, the rc dependency is too old and 
docker is  not functional...


Do you have plans to upgrade this version?

As seen earlier on this list you must use 


  apt update

  instead of

  apt-get update

  Because apt will ask if you agree and after answering Y go on

[DNG] Debian abandons LSB

While upgrading a system to Beowulf, I noticed this in the changelogs.
Is this one of those "it was fizzling out anyway so no big deal" things, or 
another policy change by Debian ? Not really bothered, just curious.
