Edward, I doubt that anybody cares. You can ban me too. You are only a victim
because you CHOOSE to be according to the novella that you are playing out in
YOUR OWN MIND! It must be a living hell to go through life with those filters
coloring the world around you. I have supported you over the years but am no
longer going to be a co-dependent to your folly. I wish you peace and
liberation from the prison you have created for yourself. Perhaps you can find
some solace in your lovely garden or with your newest, bestest four-legged
friend. When you figure things out, I will welcome you back to the real world
with joy!

You have been banned from my mail.

Thanks for proving who you are and what your intention is. That proves
your "advice" is not reliable to be listened to.

Adios, and go find some other victim to troll.

Hi All,

I will cut it short.

Hopefully, I find someone, a university professor, to give me feedback
even if I need to pay for it. I will NOT stand abusers brainwashing me
into persuasion that I am not fit to code. My project works like many
commercial projects: that is what counts. Words come far too easily.

Re: [DNG] Inform DNG users their email has been moved.

2016-07-18 Thread Jaromil

I'm sorry about how this is going, but I can't do anything about it.

Also I have no idea about the "moved email" issue. dng is pretty much
a default mailman setup since the beginning, nothing changed
recently. there is no approval needed to post (aka emergency
moderation) and only non-subscribers are moderated against spam.
I don't think is correct to blame frustrations to the technical setup.

IMHO The frustrations are not even due to the fact Edward has animated
the list with a process of learning C and writing applications, which
benefit Devuan too. It was all fine, people who had time and liked to
do so, chipped in. Some interventions by experienced programmers on
the list were even pretty interesting.

I think the thread started degrading with the "larcenous" lamenting,
when instead of focusing on the topic Edward started to pick up a
fight. He is definitely not a troll. There is reason in those who'd
like less generic C debate here. Perhaps such threads on learning C
should really belong to usenet's forums. I'm not sure.

however please lets avoid carrying this further, I think everyone
understood pretty much and will filter or participate accordingly.

ciao

Do you know how email works? Do you know how mailing lists work? Your
email reached it's destination: dng@lists.dyne.org

You obviously have not read "how to be a hacker". You are pretty
fortunate to have a connection to the Internet. You are pretty fortunate
the Internet even exists. The only thing I am left to wonder is if you
are a troll. Though, again, I should probably apply Hanlon's razor.

You are whinny and ungrateful. If you are to make friends, you must show

Hi Edward,

I don't know exactly what happened with this mail thingy
but don't let small negatives vibes spread in your mind.
Many people on ML, generally, have quite strong opinion and
can't keep themselves to answer, when sometimes the best path
is just to ignore and go next step.

It's an international list, we do not speak the same English,
so give a chance to just plain misunderstanding.

And when it's not misunderstanding, just ignore and go next step,
life is too short!
Quite OT, sorry.

[DNG] Inform DNG users their email has been moved.

2016-07-17 Thread Edward Bartolo
Hi,

I would like to suggest DNG mail moderators/admins to consider
informing mail senders that their mail has been moved. Other email
providers like Google always duly informs its users when their email
fails to reach its destination and this notwithstanding the huge
number of gmail users.

It is rude to leave mail senders in the dark. This lately happened to
me. I mistakenly attributed the strange DNG behaviour to some
temporary failure, and resulted in myself sending the same email
several times. Some users got irritated by this resulting in abuse
being directed at me, although the perpetrator later said it was not
intended. Intended or not, it did add yet another nail to the coffin
of my commitment to the Devuan project.

I am a person who takes a very long and painful time to make certain
decisions, but when I decide, it is always final. Some people will
deem this as "drama", but truly I have been considering withdrawing
from Devuan for several months. Such a decision will be followed by a
request to have my git rights removed.

Regrettably this is the situation. Those who abuse are always
supported while I am always found to blame. This is plain
psychological abuse as it slowly erodes self confidence in one's own
perception of reality.
