Hi all,

Acknowledged!

Could you elaborate the main feature of openrc-init that sysvinit does
not have?

Yours,
Benda

That somebody was me. Hi Steve I have a name. And if discussing openrc
as an init you should have replied to my mail, not the previous one.
And openrc-init is not a supervisor, has never claimed to be either.

In my opinion you are pushing too hard for your runit, s6 etc scrpits.
Just show us the code please. That talks much more than words ;)

Just for clarity: This changed thread subject is _not_ about libreswan
or or supervisors. You can continue with that in the origilan thread.
But honestly, that thread is not even about supervisors. Maybe you
should start your own thread?

Yes, openrc is now able to be pid 1 with openrc-init,
see https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/OpenRC

Unfortunately the Debian packager has not enabled this yet. It would be
nice if it could be selectable.
