[docbook-apps] Slides PDF foilgroup titlepage problems

2008-02-02 Thread Justus-bulk
Hi,

It appears that slides/fo/plain.xsl produces foilgroup title pages
that display the foilgroup title twice, once as fo:static-content by
the foil page master, and then as block content in inverted colors by
the foilgroup.titlepage template.

The appearance of the static-content title is probably a bug.

As a quick fix, which might actually make some sense, I changed the
select.user.pagemaster to use the slides-titlepage page master for
foilgroups (instead of the foil page master).

It would be nice to have the option of disabling foilgroup title pages
altogether, but I did not find a simple way of doing this without
flattening the hierarchical PDF bookmark structure.

This is with Fop 0.94.

Thanks,
Justus

[docbook-apps] header footer in custom title page

2008-02-02 Thread spr

I have successfully added a custom page after the book.titlepage.
It is called readme.titlepage

Since I did not want headers footers in the titlepage, i was not
generating header/footer content based on this condition.

  xsl:when
test  = $pageclass = 'titlepage' and
 $gentext-key = 'book'and
 $sequence = 'first'
!-- No, book titlepages have no headers at all --
  /xsl:when

But the new page: readme.titlepage does not have a header.
I am unable to find suitable test to allow new page (recto verso) fail in
the 'test' above.

Thanks,
~spr

[docbook-apps] Troubles publishing SVG with FO-XSL

2008-02-02 Thread Pedro Pastor
Hello,

I'm having troubles rendering equations in SVG format using the FO-XSL. I'm
transforming using Oxygen 9.1 and it is supposed that it provides the Batik
library installed and referenced (via CLASSPATH).

Is anybody that uses this tool having success for rendering SVG for FOs? How
should I install Batik (and which Batik.jar I should install) in order to
perform the transformation from command line (outside of Oxygen).

Thank you very much.
Pedro
