I think Randolph is already doing Impress, but Draw also needs a second

Re: [libreoffice-documentation] Find & replace attributes not working

2020-04-21 Thread S Shravz
Hi Toni,

I just looked into the steps you have drafted in your first email, when
looked into online help I found related content in the below link which
might answer your query:
https://help.libreoffice.org/6.4/en-US/text/shared/guide/find_attributes.html?&DbPAR=WRITER&System=WIN

The link says "For example, if you search for the Font attribute, all
instances of text that do not use the default font are found". So I guess
the "Font" function works only to search for the font which doesn't default
in the document. Same with the font color option as well when font color is
changed in the document and the "Find next" option is clicked with the
"Font color" attribute selected, it works. I tried both the options and it
worked for me as per whats mentioned in the link.

Hope my explanation makes sense.

Kind regards
Shravani

For some reason ATTRIBUTES is only available for the field that you want
replaced--making it rather useless.

Re: [libreoffice-documentation] Re: Draw — 3D Effects

2020-04-21 Thread Peter Schofield
Hello Alex

I have just added a comment to the bug report.

I think there is a compatibility issue between macOS Catalina 10.15 and
LibreOffice 6.4.3 that includes how LO operates. I do not have the software
skills to investigate. This compatibility issue may also include macOS Mojave
10.14, but I cannot test this.

I installed LO 6.4.3 on my very old Mac Mini that runs macOS High Sierra 10.13
and everything appears to be working OK, including the 3D Effects dialog and
all its functions. I cannot use my old Mac Mini For LO work because it runs my
TV setup so that I can watch UK TV here in Poland.

The only conclusion I make is compatibility issue.

I added my own test results to the bug report, but I can not reproduce
your findings, and I tested on a MBPRo. Unfortunately, I don't have
access to any of my MacMinis at the moment.

Irrespective of whether I access the 3D Effects dialog via right mouse
button click on a selected 3D object, or via a corresponding button
added to the Draw toolbar, the 3D Effect dialog is displayed when I call
it. In the second case, I don't even need to have selected an object, it
is sufficient just to have the Draw page containing the 3D object in focus.
