RE: [DQSD-Users] Can't enter text

Does the search bar still function?  You have one of the XP themes, don't you?  They don't work in vertical mode.  Go to -->Configure-->Load Color Scheme-->Classic

I just noticed that if I take DSQD off the task bar so it floats in its own window it still has the gray area below the search field.

If that is the issue, all you have to do is open search.htm and edit line 964.  Either make the numbers bigger than 256 or comment out some lines.  Remember, this will be switched back when you upgrade.

I changed line 964 to

  if (document.body.clientHeight > 2048
&& document.body.clientWidth > 2048)

It didn’t help.

Also widening the task bar or making the
search box smaller has no affect either.

I changed line 964 to

  if (document.body.clientHeight > 2048 && document.body.clientWidth > 2048)

It was 256 and 256

No dice, didn't remove the gray area.

For some reason, DQSD renders that way if the "host box" is too large... You
can see it if you drag DQSD off the task bar and onto your desktop and
resize it. I'm not sure if it's configurable somewhere, but I think maybe
your only option is to make it smaller... Maybe you could decrease the
height of the DQSD box?
