Any of the web applications that come with DSpace: JSPUI, XMLUI, OAI,
REST, LNI, SWORD, SWORD2, RDF. Any of these should record itself in
the Webapp table when it starts. This was the best way I could think
of to address a requirement for the 'dspace version' command to
indicate which applications are running. Each should only appear once.

> Should I be concerned that there are lots of entries ?

Someone should -- probably me. A webapp is supposed to remove any
existing entries for itself when it starts. I need to find out why
this is not happening. I recall hearing of another site where this
happens.

I don't believe that it indicates any significant problem at your
site; it's just annoying.

In addition, I see that they all have the same URL, which should not
happen.

I've submitted Issue DS-3000 to track this problem.

[dspace-tech] Items in collections are not displaying

2016-01-22 Thread Nasiru Yakubu
Hi,

I just installed DSpace 5.4 on Ubuntu 14.04 and all seems fine up until
when I create items in a collection.

The items say it has been archived but I cannot see them when I browse
through the Collection.

I checked the error logs and the only error I can find is shown below:

*ERROR org.dspace.app.xmlui.aspect.discovery.SidebarFacetsTransformer*

But I don't think this error message corresponds to the issue with the
items not displaying.

Thanks in advance
