Re: [Dspace-tech] java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:org.dspace.handle.HandlePlugin

2009-07-20 Thread Van Ly
If you have a look at the file [dspace]/bin/dsrun you'll find two lines like..

// FULLPATH=$CLASSPATH:$JARS:$DSPACEDIR/config
// java -Xmx256m -classpath $FULLPATH $@

that `storage_class' value you have there ought to associate with a class or
jar file and, I believe, if you put the path to it in the `-classpath' option
for the call to java, the ClassNotFoundException will go away.

[Dspace-tech]java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:org.dspace.handle.HandlePlugin

Hi,

I'm configuring the Handle Server and I placed in
config.dct the option:

storage_class = org.dspace.handle.HandlePlugin

But, when I run the server, I received the error:

java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:org.dspace.handle.HandlePlugin

Somebody does say me what's the problem?
Do I need to set some variable?

Thanks,

Hi All

I am testing on DSpace version 1.5.1 and am trying to upload a zip file of
200 MB. It terminates the application without any warning.
Could anyone tell me if this is possible, since we have most of our
coursewares above 100 mb.?

Thanks
Vidya

[Dspace-tech] Sorting items in task pools

2009-07-20 Thread Joseph Greene
Hello all,

I wonder has anyone ever considered sorting task pool items, eg
alphabetically by collection so that items can be claimed by relevant
cataloguer, or prioritised by project.

I'm on 1.4.2 and in the [source]/src/org/dspace/workflow directory, looking
at WorkflowItem.java et. al; this is probably a basic Java question on
sorting an array, just not sure which is the right array to sort, nor how to
sort them for that matter.

Any pointers?

All the best,

Joseph
