[Dspace-tech] Full text indexing non-english docs
Hi All, I am using DSpace 3.0 on CentOS 6.2 OS. I tried searching Internet but did not get any solution and I would like to know how to index full text non-English documents like Indian languages (e.g Hindi). Any help will be appreciated. [Dspace-tech] ERROR: value too long for type character varying(200).
Hi All, I am trying to upload a document, whose title seems very long. Hi Jim, Yes we are using proxy to connect to Internet. I have made the following changes in [apache-maven-2.0.9]/conf/settings.xml optional true http iiscproxy1.serc.iisc.ernet.in 3128 local.net,some.host.com User name and password is NOT required. Hi Stuart, Thanks very much for the prompt reply. Recently we have upgraded it to Dspace 1.4.1 on RHEL 4 using postgres database. I made the change in db.maxconnections and I think this should solve the problem. I had forgotten, earlier we had the same problem and did exactly what you suggested.
