[DX] Vuoden asema 2009 -äänestys
Hei! Vuoden Asema -äänestys on aina enemmän tai vähemmän hupaisaa väittelyä. Koska keskustelu on jo käynnistynyt, annan tässä hieman sytykkeitä debattiin, jotta äänestysprosentti kasvaisi huimiin mittoihin. DX-ystävällisyyttä mitataan pääsääntöisesti sillä, miten asemat vastaavat kuuluvuusraportteihin. Jos joku asema ei vastaa raportteihin, se on sitten omalta kohdalta helposti huono asema, kulkee ajatuksenjuoksu. Olisi mielestäni paljon rakentavampaa, että jokainen sanoisi omasta kandidaatistaan mieluiten positiivista sanottavaa eikä lähdettäisi niinkään mustamaalaamaan muita ehdokkaita. Jatkan aloitettua keskustelua nyt kuitenkin perinteisellä linjalla... Jos ehdokasjoukosta halutaan välttämättä poimia negatiivista sanottavaa, niin mielestäni esimerkiksi korealaiselta KBS:ltä on vaikeaa saada asianmukaisia HS-kortteja oikeilla taajuuksilla varustettuna. Muutama paikallis-KBS on kyllä vastannut, mutta usein kortissa on FS-taajuus (esim.väärä taajuus), vaikka asema olisi kuultu MW:ltä. Joskus tulee KBS:ltä pelkkiä tyhjiä raportointilomakkeita ikään kuin vihjaukseksi, että kuuntelijan pitäisi älytä kuunnella MW:n sijaan SW:tä. Korea ei ole yksin. Sama vaiva on monilla muillakin HS/FS-aasialaisasemilla. Poikkeuksena kuitenkin esim. Intia, joka ei nyt ole ehdolla. Vastaavasti ehdolla oleva haitilainen 4VEH vastasi allekirjoittaneelle ensimmäisellä kerralla ja pidän sitä ainakin omalta kohdaltani DX-ystävällisenä. SDXL:n QSL-tilaston 1954-1986 mukaan Radio 4VEH on vastannut ko.aikana Suomeen yhteensä 147 kertaa vuodesta 1955 lähtien. Sen jälkeen on tietysti tullut kymmeniä lisävastauksia (uusin tilasto ei nyt ole saatavillani). Jos joku ei ole saanut vastausta ko.asemalta, hän pitää haitilaista niin ollen huonona ja ei-DX-ystävällisenä asemana. Kokemukset asemien DX-ystävällisyydestä ovat siis kovin subjektiivisia. Entä onko RNZI DX-ystävällinen asema, kun se vaatii Werhossa 2 IRC:tä QSL:stä? Uusi-Seelanti on sentään kehittynyt hyvinvointivaltio verrattuna vaikkapa Afro-Aasian kehitysmaihin. Kyllä RNZI vastaa, mutta edellyttää vastauspostimaksua. Vastauksia on tullut Suomeen joka tapauksessa useita satoja vuosikymmenten aikana. Radio Merkus, Latvia on minulle outo tapaus. Missä toimii ja miten vastaa? AFRTS Diego Garcia on epäilemättä nopea vastaaja ja antaa mukavan maapisteen. Ohjelmat tosin eivät ole omaperäisiä eivätkä paikallisia. Miten tämä eroaa muista AFRTS-asemista edukseen? Eikö samalla kertaa voisi äänestää AFRTS-ketjua yleensä kuten ehdolla olevaa TWR-ketjuakin? Saksalainen Radio 700 vastasi QSL-kortilla 2 kuukaudessa. Ei hassumpi ehdokas, vaikka humpasta ei niin tykkäisikään. DX-ystävällinen, muttei oikein jaksa sytyttää formaatillaan. Trans World Radio on kieltämättä vastaillut hyvin ja asianmukaisin QTH-merkinnöin. Jos noista asemista pitää valita se DX-ystävällinen asema, niin ehkä valitsisin sellaisen aseman, joka vastaa perinteisellä QSL-kortilla, jossa on asianmukaiset (kellonaika, pvm, taajuus, lähetinpaikkakunta) merkinnät. Toisaalta tarjolla olevat ketjuasemat tuntuvat persoonattomilta/värittömiltä, vaikka QSL olisikin kaikinpuolin täydellinen. Mutta onko se QSL tosiaan ainoa kriteeri, jolla Vuoden Asema pitäisi valita? Mitä muita kriteereitä Vuoden Asemalla voisi olla kuin vastaaminen kuuluvuusraporttehin? Tämä pisteiden saalistaminenko on DX-kuuntelun koko kuva? Radioasemien funktio ei voi olla se, että ne vastaavat (jos vastaavat) kaukaisten kuuntelijoiden kuuluvuusraportteihin. Ehkäpä vika voi joskus olla myös itse kuuluvuusraportissa, jonka perusteella asema ei kykene QSL-lappusta/emailia kuuntelijalle lähettämään? Radiolaki 7 § 3 mom: Radiolähettimen hallussapitoon ei tarvita radiolupaa, jos radiolähetin on pysyvästi tehty teknisesti kykenemättömäksi radioviestintään tai jos muuten on selvää, että hallussapidon tarkoituksena ei ole laitteen käyttäminen radioviestintään. Sanoo laki mitä tahansa niin Viestintäviraston tulkinta on luettavissa esim Ficoran sivuilta: http://www.ficora.fi/index/luvat/luvanvaraisetradiolaitteet/radioamatoorit.html Ja tätä on käytännössä noudatettu eli laitteita on takavarikoitukin. Myyntitilanteessa käytäntö on ollut se, että laitteen saa Suomessa ostaa ilman radioamatöörilupaa vaikka sitten hallussapito ei ole sallittu. Euroopassa on monia maita joissa laitteen ostajan on esitettävä lupa ennenkuin kauppa voidaan tehdä. Taas samat firmat voivat myydä kylläkin ulkomaille ilman, ettäostaja esittää radioamatöörilupaa... Eli käytännössä asialla on turha leikkiä eli jos haluaa amatööritranceiverin DX-kuuntelukäyttöön ja amatöörilupaa ei ole niin kannattaa se lähetin tehdä toimintakyvyttömäksi. 73,s IJL ...tai jos muuten on selvää, että hallussapidon tarkoituksena ei ole laitteen käyttäminen radioviestintään. Siis ei tarvitse olla hami edelleenkään. Esmes jos laitteen omistajalla ei ole mikkiä, pöytälaitteen ollessa kyseessä. If you'll recall, I tipped off BBC on this freq in English Yesterday, 2/28/10 which was Sunday; and included in that tip were remarks stating that AOKI and EIBI both listed the BBC in French on this freq. Consequently, we have a weekend/daily schedule here. English on the Weekends and French during the week. I am not certain about Saturday yet? Well check on it next weekend if I recall? Much, much stronger \\ signal of sideback lobe 15300EMR Emirler transmission on S=9+20dB signal. Co-channel RFI transmission at ISS is only 600 kilometers away, so mostly on dead zone signal level, S=4 today 1400-1500 UT. Program started exact at 1600 UT, sacred chants, but suddenly powerful Ethiopian broadband hissing noise jammer started at 17.02:40 UT. From now on, EOTC program was scarcely audible underneath noise. Apparently this notice mixes local date with Universal time, for they were still on 4775, UT March 1 at 0604-0630+, so I took the opportunity for one last time to doze off to the soporific wake-up moanings of Mauritania on 4845, unimpeded by QRMashville. That persistent ute slowly pulses on the hi side, which we will no longer be able to avoid by off-tuning to the lo side, even if the WWCR signal fades from full blast (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST) ** SOMALIA [non]. 9960, at 1558 March 1, VTC ``interval signal`` the low-key music loop, so this must be the frequency chosen for the new target broadcast to Somalia, Radio Bar-Kulan; was not expecting to hear this much with WWCR on 9980 and RTTY on 9960; 1600 opening programming, including Qur`an snippet, by 1605 into Horn of Africa music, and still at 1614; RTTY not there at first, but it was dominating by 1633. Such an overloading signal required the entire 31m band to be tuned with attenuation or de-tuned preselector; same huxter on 9980 WWCR, and we can`t detune the preselector from both at the same time without going down to 8 MHz. However, as far as we could tell, 9480 was not radiating spurs at this time. Presumably fill programming until ready for more live stuff from the NRB. Other listeners in Europe, Asia and North America were hearing WTWW also active overnight on 5755 until 1200. Peters resents being called a hater; yet you only have to listen to him for 5 seconds at random to hear how hatefully he rants. PPP racist crap is a great way to drive away new listeners, and I don`t check again until 1805. Now it`s back live from NRB, Ted Randall interviewing someone about repentance. OMG, now it`s Pastor Pete Peters himself, live and in person with his exaggerated country accent.
