Peru, 4835.45, Radio Maranon, 1015-1030, Noted music
then a male and female in Spanish
comments between the music. Signal was fair to poor.
(Chuck Bolland, May 4, 2010)

Peru, 4746.93, Radio Huanta Dos Mil, 1028-1035, With
the usual Huaynos type music at
tune in. At 1034 music stops for a moment and canned
promos and ID's heard. Signal
was fair to poor during the period. (Chuck Bolland,
May 4, 2010)

Unident, 4604.41, 1035-1045 Have a carrier on this
freq, but can't pull out any audio from it.
I am wondering if this might be RRI Serui, Indonesia.
Don't want to commit to Serui without
more details however. (Chuck Bolland, May 4, 2010)

Peru, 4790, Radio Vision, 0956-1005, Noted a male in Spanish
comments at tune in. This was followed with canned promos.
Back to live comments by a male on the hour. Signal was poor.
(Chuck Bolland, August 18, 2009)

Peru, 4835.42, Radio Maranon, 1004-1015, Noted a person in
Spanish language comments. Signal was very weak. (Chuck
Bolland, August 18, 2009)

Russia, 5920.00, Radio Rossii, 1013-1036, Noted two males in Russian
Language comments. This is mixing with WBOH, but because WBOH is
off freq at about 4 Hertz at 5919.96, Rossii is readable. Checked 5940
KHz for a parallel on Rossii and noted an even weaker signal there.
Rossii on 5920 was fair to good. (Chuck Bolland, August 18, 2009)

China, 5030, CNR One, (PRES) 1037-1045, Noted a male and female in
Chinese language comments. Tuned over this earlier and the signal
was barely audible. Now it's at a fair level. (Chuck Bolland, August 18,
2009)

Bolivia, 6155.20, Radio Fides, 0945-1000, The freq is clear of the
regular stronger station, so noted Radio Fides here with a male
in probably Spanish language comments. Signal is very weak and
at this point hearing the specific language clearly is difficult. After
a minute or two the station's signal drops deeper into the ether and
nothing but the carrier is audible. However, at 0950 more talk is
heard by a female possibly? Too much noise and not enough signal
to continue listening. (Chuck Bolland, July 14, 2009)

Peru, 6019.41, Radio Victoria, 0955-1005, At tune in noted the
usual Preacher in his weeping Spanish language sermon. Fortunately
Radio Victoria is down a few Hertz from 6020 because it sounds like
there's probably two other large stations sharing this frequency. With
a good notch filter though, the larger stations can be nulled out and
Victoria is rather easy to hear especially when the 'weeping preacher
is broadcasting. At 1000 noted live comments from a different male
who gave time and then lead into canned ID and promos followed
with music. Signal was fair for Victoria. (Chuck Bolland, July 14, 2009)

Peru, 4775, Radio Tarma, 1029-1040, Noted steady Spanish talk
by a female. She continued during the period. Signal was threshold.
(Chuck Bolland, Julay 14, 2009)

Peru, 5039.19, Radio Libertad, 1038-1045, At tune in, noted music.
At 1041 a male comments in Spanish until 1047 when music is continued again.
Signal was fair. (Chuck Bolland, July 14, 2009)

Malaysia, 7270, RTM Wai FM, (pres), 1050-1100 Noted a female
in comments. Iban listed as language. She is followed by music. Between
1055 and 1103, the signal improves slightly.
At that time noted two females in conversation before the hour. On
the hour a different female talks in possibly Japanese language. Can't be
certain since the signal is still rather poor. At 1110 a second female
starts with talk in a different language. (Chuck Bolland, July 14, 2009)

2008-12-16 Thread ka4prf

Indonesia, 4750, RRI Makassar, 1010-1046, Starting out the signal was very
poor. Noted a female in brief Indonesian language comments followed by the
reciting of the Qu'ran by a male. This lasted until 1018 when the female
returned.

Music and talk continued until 1045 when female went into steady comments.
Signal improved slightly during the period to a very poor to a poor level
CODAR.

(Chuck Bolland, December 16, 2008)

Peru, 4775, Radio Tarma, 1048-1100 Intially noted a male in Spanish
language

comments followed immediately with music. Signal was poor and CODAR made
it practically impossible for a better signal. At 1051, canned promos
heard.

(Chuck Bolland, December 16, 2008)

Peru, 4857.45, Radio La Hora, 1052-1100 At tune in, noted Spanish Ballads.
Time mentioned during music by a female. Noted a pattern with the music
when the machine would get stuck on a track and keep repeating. I've had
this experience with my CD player in my truck whenever the CD is slightly
damaged and gets stuck and keeps repeating. At 1058 a couple of ADs noted.
At 1100 ID given as, ...Radio La Hora ... canned followed by a second
canned ID with a different person. Live comments from a male at 1101 then
more canned stuff. Signal was fair. (Chuck Bolland, December 16, 2008)
