[Dx4win] Label layout?
Use the File/Databases/Labels and select one of the two custom labels that you can customize. I use one for my labels and one for printing directly to qsl cards. Use a blank piece of paper to check how the print layout is working until you get everything right. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Paul B. I'd like to use Avery 5261 or 5159 labels for those occasions when I confirm numerous bands / modes for a DX callsign. When I enter the Avery number in the label manager, the preview shows the correct label number in terms of dimensions, but the layout is not altered and there is lots of wasted white space to the right of the standard (small) label layout. How do I alter the layout? I don't see anything in the manual about the ability to actually rearrange the entire label layout process, i.e. a label layout or configuration tool.
[Dx4win] Custom Label Not Working
I tried creating a Custom2 on a 3.5 by 5.5 card and it did not work properly. Regardless if the number of QSO's is zero, 10, 12, or 18, it does not print properly. I had a test with 11 QSO's to print from one callsign. It always prints five on the first card and six on the second card instead of printing them all on one card. 73's Alan, N5PA
[Dx4win] Print Back of QSL Card
How do you set up the Custom1 Label to print on the back of a QSL Card with 14 QSO's per label? I have been testing with it and it seems to want to print all the CW contacts on one label and the SSB and RTTY contacts on another label. What is the deal? 73's Alan, N5PA
[Dx4win] QSL Card labels and QSL mgr info window
Anyone have a Custom label set up for printing directly onto the QSL card. I would appreciate your settings. On another note, when using the F3 key to get the qsl mgr, I have a problem, after selecting F3 the window comes up on the callsign in the mgr area the flashes quickly to the DX callsign, therefore wrong info. How do you get it to stay with the MGR callsign and return the correct info? Using 5.03 with WinXP. [Dx4win] Reply To: 14 Qs On The Back
Sorry about that but I deleted the message and am clueless as to what the title was originally. Anyhow, I suspect your problem with the 14 Qs tending toward segregation into CW and SSB might be that you have the Qs identified with group names or numbers. Maybe CQWW SSB, CQWW CW, ARRL SSB, etc.? Can't remember if turning off 'print group names' fixed the issue or not. Not aware of any other way to turn off the 'segregation' that happens due to groups but if there is a way, hopefully someone will pass along the info. I was able to 'minimize' the problem by making the group names a little more generic. For instance, CQWW CW is a little redundant when the mode is listed as CW anyhow so I made it just CQWW. That doesn't fix the problem with ARRL and CQ contests getting segregated though. Hope this helps. Say, has anyone heard anything from Paul and/or Steve recently? Can't remember seeing anything from either one of them on the reflector in quite some time. We haven't been abandoned have we? 73 DX de Mike / W8DN
