[Dx4win] Spot color problems? Check PACKET1 preferences
Are you have having problems with spot colors? For example, you work PJ2 on 20 CW and another one is spotted on 20 meters, and it comes up as if it's an all-time new one (black on yellow). Check the PACKET1 tab of your preferences. At the bottom, look for a check box called Alert unconfirmed country. If this is checked, then your spots will all come up that way (needed all time), until, of course, that entity is CONFIRMED on that band/mode combination. Uncheck this box, and the spots will follow the normal yellow/blue/red coloring. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, jjreis...@alum.mit.edu, http://www.ad1c.us __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

I'm using the microHam CW Keyer controled by logging soft DX4Win CW-keybord window function keys. How must the ASCII line in the function editor look like to get access to k1el_keyer embedded functions, such as force key down for tuning without a PS/2 keybord connected with microHam CW Keyer ? Re: [Dx4win] DX4Win CW Keyer
I think unless I'm missing something the TUNE function has not been programmed into the DX4WIN WinKey keyboard. It is available from the CW keyboard but that is no help when using WinKey. If I am correct perhaps Paul could put this on the wish list for the future. It is possible as other programs do have TUNE available with WinKey. Like Kostas I have another keyer in parallel that I use for tune but it would be nice feature to have from DX4WIN it self. 73 John ZL1BYZ. -Original Message- From: dx4win-boun...@mailman.qth.net [mailto:dx4win-boun...@mailman.qth.net] On Behalf Of Thomas Herrmann Sent: Thursday, 14 October 2010 05:01 To: DX4WIN Reflector Subject: [Dx4win] DX4Win CW Keyer I'm using the microHam CW Keyer controled by logging soft DX4Win CW-keybord window function keys. [Dx4win] Dissolution of Netherlands Antilles Creates Four New DXCC Entities
http://www.arrl.org/news/dissolution-of-netherlands-antilles-creates-four-new-dxcc-entities 10/13/2010 The dissolution of the Netherland Antilles has caused changes to the DXCC List. As per the DXCC rules, the two Netherland Antilles DXCC entities will be deleted and moved to the Deleted Entities List. Four new entities will be added to the DXCC List: (1) CuraƧao; (2) Sint Maarten; (3) Saba and St Eustatius, and (4) Bonaire. The event date and time for these changes will be 0400 UTC, October, 10 2010. Confirmations for these new entities will be accepted for credit starting January 1, 2011. Other administrative changes and actions will be announced as they are finalized. As soon as the ADIF country IDs are released, I'll update the country files. As you can see/guess, logging is already correct. I will need the country IDs so that import/export to/from eQSL/LoTW works properly. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, jjreis...@alum.mit.edu, http://www.ad1c.us __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
[Dx4win] New IOTA group announced
http://www.rsgbiota.org/info/newsarticle.php?idnumber=1287002073 Following today's ARRL announcement of four new DXCC entities in the former Netherlands Antilles we can now announce IOTA's position. Curacao will, in accordance with IOTA rule E.5.5 (Island DXCC entity group), become a new IOTA group with the reference number SA-099, operative from 0400 UTC, 10 October 2010. Contacts made prior to that time/date will continue to count for SA-006. Bonaire remains as a valid island within SA-006, so its IOTA status will not change. There will also be no IOTA group number change to Sint Maarten NA-105 or Saba and Sint Eustatius NA-145, islands split from each other long ago in accordance with IOTA rules. This will be included in the new country file. __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
Re: [Dx4win] New IOTA group announced
NOTE: You won't be able to change existing PJ2 QSOs (post-10/10/10) to IOTA SA-099 until after the new country file is released. However, you can change PJ4/PJ5/PJ6/PJ7 now: PJ4 = SA-006 (Island name = Bonaire) PJ5 = NA-145 (Island name = St. Eustatius) PJ6 = NA-145 (Island name = Saba) PJ7 = NA-105 73 - Jim AD1C On Wed, Oct 13, 2010 at 4:20 PM, Jim Reisert AD1C jjreis...@alum.mit.edu wrote: http://www.rsgbiota.org/info/newsarticle.php?idnumber=1287002073 Following today's ARRL announcement of four new DXCC entities in the former Netherlands Antilles we can now announce IOTA's position.
