Re: [Dx4win] IC7410
Hello Hans, Under File Preferences you can select the radio. An external program should not be necessary. On my system the 7410 is not included as yet but perhaps either of the two 7400 configurations may work. Re: [Dx4win] IC7410
Hans, just took a look at the manuals for these boxes. The default addresses are different. You will need, I believe, a CI-V level converter or equivalent which connects between radio remote socket and computer serial port. The 7400 address is 66H and 7410 80H, the radio and DX4WIN must be the same address. For interface information see here : http://www.n3fjp.com/w1geeinterface.html and http://www.hosenose.com/store/productDetail.aspx?ProdID=6223PrimaryCatID=45; Regards, Doug - GM7SVK - Original Message - From: Doug MM0BJA msg@ntlworld.com To: DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net Sent: Friday, November 08, 2013 8:56 AM Subject: Re: [Dx4win] IC7410 Hello Hans, Under File Preferences you can select the radio. Re: [Dx4win] DXCC QSL Download - New?
Hi Dan, Thanks' for that but DXCC QSL file we are referring to is a recent initiative by ARRL on LoTW and is not referred to in the application notes on Jim's page. At this point in time I realise having support for making use of this file and automatically importing the award information within DX4WIN is probably not going to happen, Paul? This would be a seriously cool addition to DX4WIN. While the ADIF file is readily readable it's not very user friendly for a person to use as a source to manually enter the useful DXCC award information back into DX4WIN. Is there someone who would be willing to write some sort of GUI that would make reading the file and inputting the information manually into DX4WIN easier. In my case I have nearly 2400 entries to make. 73 John ZL1BYZ. -Original Message- From: Dan Violette [mailto:dank...@socal.rr.com] Sent: Saturday, 9 November 2013 15:37 To: 'John Shaw'; dx4win@mailman.qth.net Subject: RE: [Dx4win] DXCC QSL Download - New?
