Bud,
VE7CC.
Configuration, Ports/Logging Program.

Make sure that "Logging Program Connection" has a checkbox next to "Enable
Telnet", and that "Use port 7300" is selected.

Re: [Dx4win] No Spots Received

2018-11-04 Thread Bud Governale
Hi John.

More Info:
In DX4WIN Packet Window I right click and this time chose W3LPL. It asked
for my callsign. I entered it and when I clicked on Enter spots started
flowing.\
Next I chose LOCAL>CC User ,localhost:7300 and entered my callsign and hit
Enter.
The response was a pop up windoe:
Warning: No Connection Active.
How to get Ve7CC CC User to start sending spots? I see many flowing thru in
the CC User DX window.

[Dx4win] No Spots Received

2018-11-04 Thread Bud Governale
Installed DX4WIN on a new computer from a computer that had DX4WIN working
perfectly for years.
Copied the DX4WIN 9.04 folder from a thumb drive to the new computer.
It's working.
Installed and setup VE7CC CC User.
It's working.
No spots received by DX4WIN.
Packet is set to Internet Connection:
LOCAL>CC User ,localhost:7300
File>Preferences>Packet1 cluster interface has
Type Regular, ComPort TCP/IP

What's wrong?

Yes, Paul suggested that I delete the config.dat file and restart the
software. It worked, everything is back to normal again. Thanks!!

Callsign?

What version of DX4WIN? IC-775 appears to be supported in version
9.04 and probably earlier versions.

Are you sure your interface hardware is good, i.e. does the radio work
with any other software?

You should pick a FIXED baud rate in the radio (not AUTO), and turn
Transceive OFF. And make sure the hex address code is the default for
the 775 (46h)
