Re: [Dx4win] Deleted Files
two possibilities: 1) you have a 2nd log somewhere. If yes search for .dxl in your computer. 2) When you closed dx4win, it asked you if you want to save the file and you told no. In this case dx4win didn't save the file. There is a .~xl file in the same directory you save the log, possibly yourcall.~xl. Rename it to yourcallbackup.dxl and open it. Maybe this file has the missed qsos or some of them 73 Kostas SV1DPI Στις 21/12/2022 05:24, ο/η gw3sfc via DX4WIN έγραψε: Yesterday worked 19 stations and logged them in dx4win. Re: [Dx4win] Utility "Compare Lotw To Dx4win"
Hello Luciano, Jim's LoTW to DX4WIN program is not difficult or complicated, but you must me careful and work through all of the steps. If you have a lot of confirmations, it can take a long time. I was already on the Honor Roll when I started using dx4win, and did not have dx4win track my DXCC credits until after I had been using the program for several years. It took me three full days to get everything straightened out, but now my dx4win and LoTW records always agree. I'll be happy to help you with your records. 73, Mike Cizek W0VTT -Original Message- From: dx4win-boun...@mailman.qth.net On Behalf Of Luciano de la Rosa Sent: Tuesday, 20 December, 2022 12:25 To: DX4WIN Reflector Subject: [Dx4win] Utility "Compare Lotw To Dx4win" Hi. I wanted DX4WIN to manage the DXCC Awards, and of the 3 shipments that I have made to the DXCC Card Checker, alone, the flags appear, in the first shipment. I have been watching the "Compare Lotw To DX4WIN" program, and in the end I did not dare to use it, so as not to make a mistake for my clumsiness, (I was seeing all the documentation about it, on the Jim page, but it seemed more and more complicated) Maybe it's not as complicated as it seems. I think the next step will be, manually mark, all the QSL checked for awards. If someone has used it and can guide me, I would appreciate it. Re: [Dx4win] Help
I got the country file back into the program and it works fine now. I made a special note in my DX4WIN loose leaf spiral notebook and will not have to figure this problem out again, I HOPE Thanks to all who responded. I should have remember this issue from another experience when this happened years ago. Trouble is as I keep getting older I forget more. You young'ins will remember that one day. Again, thanks for all the help. It is working just fine now. de John Paul // AB4PP On Mon, Dec 19, 2022 at 7:42 PM Alan Zack wrote: > This has happened to me a couple of times.
