Can someone tell me where the auto update button is? Thanks Mike WG0M If there must be trouble, let it be in my day, that my child may have peace. There is no way to get the RAC data auto-copied into the log. While some may want it to work this way, I'd never do it. Re: [Dx4win] 2011 Radio Amateur Call book DX4WIN
Alan, Although when I press (F3 followed by ENTER) my v.8.05 does look up qrz.com information, it never inserts any information in the DX4WIN Callsign/Mgr lookup window. In the same window, the text Update QSO is always grayed out whether US or DX station. Perhaps you can advise what I may be doing incorrectly or NOT doing as the case may be. Question regarding your statement, Note: Be sure the AUTO UPDATE tab is clicked when using F3 so that when you log or check another call the address will follow to the new call. Where is this tab located? I do not seem to find it. You should notice in the bottom of the F3 window the UPDATE QSO button is only active for USA stations. For DX it is grayed out. To accomplish what you want to do for DX (non USA) stations is to use F3 to open the CALLSIGN/MGR LOOKUP window. The address will appear in this window. Then click on the first line of the address and scroll down so the complete address is highlighted. Then do an ALT+M which will transfer the address to the QSL MGR box in the main logging window. This will be the address that is printed on labels when you print QSL labels.
