Re: [Dx4win] ADIF export
Thanks Kostas. A little back ground, I've been maintaining the ZM90DX log using HRD which accept the Operator and My_IOTA fields, ZM90DX used a number of operators from different IOTAs and we have Charles M0OXO as our QSL manager, the IOTA and Operator is required for the QSL cards. Unfortunately a large number of QSL cards are arriving at our ZL Bureau so rather than on sending them I elected to process the request and just e-mail M0OXO the resulting file. HRD is so painfully slow, I'll import the log (60k QSOs) into a DX4WIN log for QSL processing, the Operator Field will become the QSO Notes and IOTA a Group in DX4WIN. Yes, I can filter by Group (IOTA) and export the ADIF, then add the Group (IOTA) using ADIF Master, do the same for each Group and merge the ADIF files. An other option is to generate a .csv file from the Logbook Report Generator which can have all the required fields then convert the .csv to ADIF. As the QSLing commitment will be on going for years I was looking for a ONE STEP process. [Dx4win] ADIF export to Club Log
Hi all, Can anyone suggest a work around that will get DX4WIN to export LoTW cfm's in a ADIF. Currently it would seem that it only exports cfm's for cards. This has come up with exporting logs to Club Log. At present the only way to apply LoTW cfm to CL statistics is to upload lotwreport.adi on top of you log from DX4WIN. That works of but requires more processes to keep track of and when the log starts to get a bit of size, 10's of MB's uploads to achieve. 73 John ZL1BYZ __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

That works of but requires more processes to keep track of and when the log starts to get a bit of size, 10's of MB's uploads to achieve. Hi John, If you're using DX4WIN 8.0x, no change is needed. I looked at my ADIF export and saw this: LOTW_QSL_SENT:1Y LOTW_QSLSDATE:8:d20070104 LOTW_QSL_RCVD:1Y These are all standard ADIF fields. Maybe Club Log needs to be trained to recognized these ADIF fields. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, jjreis...@alum.mit.edu, http://www.ad1c.us __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
Re: [Dx4win] ADIF export to Club Log
John, I normally wait a while to upgrade, but took the plunge with ver 8.02. I really like it. Fixed a number of small issues from the past, adds new features like better integration with Lotw, band map, etc. I think most of the bugs from version 8.01 are fixed with version 8.02. By the way, nice working you yesterday on 12M CW! You were loud into KY! 73's, Dave, N4QS - Original Message - From: John Shaw jns...@internet.co.nz To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Sent: Monday, November 16, 2009 5:28 PM Subject: Re: [Dx4win] ADIF export to Club Log One question, one reply, how could that be any faster. Won't work... the demo mode won't let you export an ADIF file. [Dx4win] ADIF Export (10-10)
--- Jeff Steinkamp [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: It appears that sometime between version 6 and now DX4WIN is no longer exporting the Ten-Ten token in the ADIF export. I suspect this is because the Ten-Ten number is no longer a separate input field in the logging form and now part of the award systems. That could very well be. Is there a plan to reintroduce this token back into the export routine? There are a number of 10-10 folks who use this program. It's still a valid ADIF field: http://www.adif.org/adif217.htm Though I'm not sure how Paul would do this in the code. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, 7 Charlemont Court, North Chelmsford, MA 01863 USA +978-251-9933, [EMAIL PROTECTED], http://www.ad1c.us From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Aug 14 12:44:00 2006 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Tony Lord) Date: Mon Aug 14 12:57:08 2006 Subject: [Dx4win] Saving frequency in log In-Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message-ID: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Dear All, I use the $$ function to save the transmit frequency in my log when making calls. [Dx4win] ADIF export
Hi all, when I export my log as an ADIF file, I notice that: 1) No QSL_SENT information is supported if in DX4WIN the method field was set to Ignore. It would be helpful if the information could be exported as qsl_sent:1I 2) No information about the QSL manager is exported. However there seems to be a QSL_VIA field in the ADIF specs. Any thoughts? Thanks and 73 Christoph DK9TN
