[Dx4win] Rigblaster Pro Interface
I do not have everything set up right now, but when I did I ended up using a cable directly from a serial port to my rig, not through the RigBlaster Pro - this worked for me, but needed an extra serial port. The ports going to the RigBlaster Pro were SER A for PTT/CW and SER B for MixW, MMTTY FSK. I had to modify the internal jumpering in the RigBlaster Pro a bit to allow FSK on Serial B. The Serial B port has only three connections: Receive Data, Transmit Data and Ground. This is not enough to communicate with a radio! I do not know why they did not pass the connections through from Serial A. Is anyone out there using a Rig Blaster Pro with any radio and STILL have DX4WIN automated response to the radio's mode? Hi everyone. I am using a Rig Blaster Pro with a Yaesu FT-950. All functions of the Rig Blaster work as expected. But in setting up the Rig Blaster pro as described in the manuals, the ability of having DX4WIN follow the band and mode changes of the radio has been lost. Is anyone out there using a Rig Blaster Pro with any radio and STILL have DX4WIN automated response to the radio's mode? Check programming on page 30 of the Pro manual for Yaesu programming when using the serial ports for rig control. FSK and CW...
