[ECOLOG-L] Postdoc position in community ecology at Stanford University
A postdoctoral fellow position is available in the Fukami Lab at Stanford University (www.stanford.edu/~fukamit/). The successful candidate will conduct NSF-funded laboratory and field research on the community assembly of nectar- inhabiting bacteria and yeasts. There will be opportunities to develop independent and collaborative research. Experience in fungal and/or bacterial molecular ecology and/or one or more of the following fields is desirable: experimental evolution, pollination biology, chemical ecology, or hummingbird ecology. Initial appointment will be for one year, with the possibility of extension for one or two additional years, contingent on performance and funding availability. Start date is preferably February 2014, but flexible. To apply, please e-mail a cover letter, CV, and the names and contact information of three references as a single pdf to Tadashi Fukami (fuka...@stanford.edu), with the subject line as Postdoc application your name.
