[Elecraft] AWG Packet Engine?

2006-09-10 Thread Bill Allen
Has anyone had any luck using the AWG Packet Engine software for HF packet
with their K2? I just cannot seem to get tuned in well enough to decode
packets. Even on the OP1 filter, I am thinking that I am just to close to
the edge of the bandwidth of the filter to receive. Any ideas?

Can't help on the AWG engine, but I'm able to use RTTY and Slow Scan TV ( At
least receive). I'm using the MMSCTV and MMpkt drivers. They are a sound
card implementation.

I enabled the RTTY mode -- the 'r' mode using the secondary menu commands.
Using Spectrogram, I set the filters fairly wide - to about 2 Khz. The
configuration seems to work for me.

Good Luck !
