Re: [Elecraft] Greetings to Group
When my wife died 13 years ago, I mentioned that my son and I were just not equipped to prepare edible meals. Phil sent me a large assortment of his spices, unsolicited but much appreciated, to at least mask our mistakes. Thanks to him, we had our last meal standing next to each other over the sink. I've thought about him often since then when I'm in the kitchen wondering about dinner. I'm only a marginally better "cook", but his gift made me try harder. Re: [Elecraft] Greetings to Group
My condolences to Phil's family and his many friends. I have never met Phil in person, but we have had many very pleasant email exchanges in the past. Our last conversation was around the building of a custom cable adapter to allow him to use his microphone with the KX3. I hope he had many pleasant QSOs with it. 73, Don W3FPR On 4/18/2013 2:16 PM, Kyle N4NSS wrote: Greetings to Group: I have the sad news to inform all that Phil La Marche W9DVM passed on April 14th. from complications due to a case of the stomach flu. I'm very sorry to hear of Phil's passing. My condolences to Diane and Phil's family. I'm sure you'll be able to operate that dream station in honor of Phil's true spirit and make him proud.
