There is no jumper on the K3, so how does it know there is a filter
there?
Select RX ANT. If you check either the schematics or block diagram,
you will see that selecting RX ANT will route the RF line from the
TR switch *out* the RX OUT jack at the same time the RX IN jack is
selected.
