Re: [PSES] Keytek EMC Pro direct surge output question

Hi Bob,

I know my KeyTek ECAT does have the 18uF. Not sure if that helps much
though.

Subject: [PSES] Keytek EMC Pro direct surge output question

Worldly Experts,

I've been asked to perform data-line surge testing on shielded cables per EN
61000-4-5 (para. 7.6)

My question is: Does anyone know if the Keytek EMC Pro surge generator has
the 18uF capacitor (referenced in para 7.6 and 6.2.3 of the standard) built
into the internal CDN?

This is the first time I have attempted this test. The EMC Pro manual has
little details on this and Keytek (the company) is long gone.

Bob Sykes
