http://www.ieee-pses.org/symposium http://www.emc2004.org/ Right, but the money part, related to the kilometers driven (or miles for some of us from the pre-SI countries), an approval is needed to prevent the taxi driver to steal you using a faulty meter. First 10 standards published under GPSD + measuring instruments directive
http://www.ieee-pses.org/symposium http://www.emc2004.org/ Hello EMC/PSTC friends world wide, I remember having read a few discussions last 12 months about the General Product Safety Directive (DIR 2001/95/EC) Recently (april 24th), the EC has published it's first list of 10 standards to be applied to show conformity to the GPSD. I am not fully sure if no one mentioned it this month, but i did not find such a refernce during a quick check. Please note that the GPSD is not a CE mark related directive ! Re: Measuring Instruments Directive
Dear Nick There are a number of useful links on the draft MID on our website http://www.cherryclough.com";> www.cherryclough.com under "Useful links to EU directives" (or go directly to: http://www.cherryclough.com/usefullinks1/index.html";>http://www.cherryclough.com/usefullinks1/index.html). We haven't rechecked these links recently, so some of them may have rotted. Also, we have a brief introduction to the provisions of the draft MID (and many other directives) plus the same links in our downloadable introduction to EU Directives under "Lists of EU Directives" (or go directly to: http://www.cherryclough.com/nss-folder/eudirectives/";> http://www.cherryclough.com/nss-folder/eudirectives/). Measuring Instruments Directive
I have come across some information on the web specifically to do with electricity and gas meters that infers that a new directive called the Measuring Instruments Directive is about to come into force. I have searched the Europa website for information on this but can not find any. Does anyone have any info or ideas on this?
