In these types of debates both sides can usually present their data to make a strong case that they are correct on an issue. For the average individual it comes down to what you want to believe which decides which side you support... We are seeing this currently with the arm wrestling that is going on over the proposed change in flammability requirements for fire enclosures for EDP and Audio Video products. I have followed this with great interest as it affects our products and both sides have presented data which defends their position IMHO.Each side arguments has it's own merit..
