Taichung TW was the place ( Kaoshung later )
try the manual knee mill mfctrs listed here
try search at http://www.taiwantrade.com.tw/
drill down thru mills manual knee ...
look for similar style pictures, then send pic to mfctr
(most have skype contacts but they are 11hrs ahead! )

also

some of the mill parts companies may be able to identify it or aid
in dissasembly/getting manuals.

I called Sharp in Vancouver, BC and the guy was absolutely insistent 
that no parts would be interchangeable between the 1054 and this Acra. 
They just look similar.

Rght. And identical twins have eight different parents.

They have manuals but not in digital form. No disassembly instructions 
or even exploded diagrams.

WTH is with this industry that so many companies are determined to be as 
unhelpful as possible? With that attitude I sure would not buy a new 
Sharp from their BC operation.

When you import using alibre, you can use the Import File Options, and check
Heal, Make Tolerant and Discard Non-solid Faces.  I don't know which
one fixes it, but without them, it looks like the normals are inverted.
