[Emc-users] Remap toolchange - run to line wants to change through each tool
I'm running master. I have M6 remapped in GCode running on a VMC. When I restart a program, the machine wants to cycle through each of the M6 tool change commands in the gcode file until picking back up on the line that I start it on. So say I have tools 1 - 5 in a program. It performs operations first with tool 1, then 2 then 3etc. Somewhere at the end of the program say on tool 5 I hit escape to stop the program (perhaps to check something). When I restart the program it will want to change to tool 1, then tool 2, then tool 3, until it gets back to tool 5 and then restarts where I commanded it to. Does anyone know by chance what is going on here. If not I will investigate and report back my findings. Re: [Emc-users] armhf vs bullseye
Can you use Python venv to build with Python 3.7? Python pretty much *always* needs this to isolate the version of Python used from the version supplied by the OS.I would never build using the OS supplied Python because then you'd be in trouble if the OS software update changed something. [Emc-users] armhf vs bullseye
I'm recovering from yet another bullseye crash and burn but am curious about the LCNC for the Pi's, which builds and works fine with the python-3.7 in buster, but fails with the python-3.9.2 in bullseye. I promised Dave E. I'd make him bootable rpi4 cards but with buster coming up on EOL, I'd like to send a bullseye back to him, Do you folks have a SWAG as to how much longer it might take? Re: [Emc-users] small hole needle gauge thingy
There are several companies that make/made similar hole gages. I have ones with both a scale + magnifier similar to the one in the video and another with a DTI to read the diameter. The label on one of the magnifier ones says: KWIK-CHECK GAGE Company 7707 North U.S. #1, Suite 4 Vero Beach Florida 32967 The DTI one is a Brencor, Inc Model 130 I'll attach photos to another email. Hopefully they are not too large... -Original Message- From: fxkl47BF--- via Emc-users Sent: February 17, 2022 9:07 PM To: Enhanced Machine Controller \(EMC\) Cc: fxkl4...@protonmail.com Subject: Re: [Emc-users] small hole needle gauge thingy On Thu, 17 Feb 2022, Thomas J Powderly wrote: > hi, i think its a > > Helios-Preisser D?senlehre 0,1 mm 0 - 5 mm 0599102 > > helios maker of fine calipers, very old school tomp > > On 2/17/22 7:35 PM, fxkl47BF--- via Emc-users wrote: > >> Take a look at this video at time 16:30 Does anyone recognize this >> device https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xf7DuvcScyk At first glance I thought that might be a handy tool But it measures the lip of the hole So any burr or any deburring makes it useless It still looks cool ___ Emc-users mailing list Emc-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users ___ Emc-users mailing list Emc-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
