Re: [Emc-users] Request for Fonts
John personally that font is such a piece of crap I wouldn't want it anyway.as for copyright.. I have no idea and that thought never crossed my mind. I think that there are much better and "openly available" fonts other than in BobCad I can not get that font to open even with a .FNT file reader. Unless you can document that they are licensed for other uses, please don't pass them around. (If you insist on doing so, please don't talk about it here.) Re: [Emc-users] EMC 2.1.5 released(strange problem)
I just tried to update my machine (using update manager) with the latest 2.1.5 version and during the install process my machine crashed. Blank screen, and I couldn't shut the machine down with the off/on switch. I shut off the power and the machine started the reboot process and when I entered the user name and password the small cursor appeared at the top of the screen and a few seconds later the start up splash appears along with the startup sound and then the screen goes blank and back to the same situation as before, frozen. Prior to this attempted update the machine was working fine. Any suggestions as to what may have happened? - This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML. No limits. Re: [Emc-users] EMC 2.1.1 released
John, I have installed EMC 2.1.0 on my pc and not sure how to upgrade to the newer version. (I am a virgin Linux user) so as of yet nothing is simple. I am only playing with EMC in the servo sim mode as I still don't have my mill ready to connect to my drives. Can you give me more detail on upgrading. Does EMC have an update manager?
