Namely, the icon for the NetworkManger applet disappears. The applet itself works fine, it's just invisible unless I click on it to get its menu. All my other applets don't seem afflicted and nm-applet itself works fine when I run it in the Gnome panel. I'm running 0.16.8.15-1 and network-manager-gnome 0.6.6-4 on Debian squeeze. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Yeah, problems like that seem to come and go. Currently I see that problem with pidgin but not with NM (version 0.7.0.99). I guess I should try to figure out if it can be fixed in e16 or if the apps are just misbehaving. If you want more apps to poke at, I tend to see issues with Opera and occasionally the Screenlets icon not being visible in e16's systray. Icon drawing becomes problematic when changing icon sizes around a bit too, no matter what icons are in there.. Maybe the problem is related? Turning on base images aggravates the issue when changing the icon sizes too. My problems with pidgin seem go away when setting the systray icon size to e.g. 16 or 32 in stead of the default 24. This might also fix problems with nm-applet. Just thought I'd confirm that setting icon size to 16 appears to fix all strange behavior with nm-applet on my end. Thanks! How do you set the icon size for systray? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Right click in some systray part, e.g. background or slider, and select Settings... If the systray background/slider/arrows are all hidden you'll have to use eesh ibox cfg _ST_. /Kim -- ___ enlightenment-users mailing list enlightenment-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/enlightenment-users
[e-users] Systray in shelf only below everything
Hi, I've experienced some strange behaviour of the new systray-module. I put the module to a shelf. If this shelf is below everything the systray works quite fine. But after setting the shelf stacking to Below Windows or Above Everything the systray appears red and no application can connect to it but any other systray says that there's already an systray. After setting the shelf back to Below Everything it works fine again. Has anyone experienced this behaviour, too? cu paul -- Paul Kuntke p...@kuntke.de Jabber-ID: p...@42degreesoffreedom.com -- ___ enlightenment-users mailing list enlightenment-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/enlightenment-users

[e-users] icons on desktop
I have recently re-installed E17 on my box. There are various icons that show up on the desktop referencing various devices, (external drives, scanner, tv card). Prior to this install of E17, I could move these icons around. If I attempt to drag them around, they simply return to their original position. Further, two of them are on top of each other and therefore I can't get to the one underneath. Is this a bug, or some configuration detail I'm missing?
